I don't buy any canned food except for Libby's pure pumpkin puree. I can everything myself. Plus as a member of a meat coop I get fresh meats whenever they butcher a cow, deer, or buffalo. I don't eat seafood. But when I eat fish, I've caught that sucker myself.

In the late 1970's I was given 2 cans of B&M canned bread when I was with the Canadian Armed Forces.. I placed them in my flight bag . They were in the bag which was placed in storaged when I went to Germany in 1979. When I returned to Canada in 1990, I retrieved the bag with the cans still in it. I opened one - it was still moist and tasted fresh. I stll have the other one.

Hi, I found out a few days ago that if you leave your white rice in the fridge over night it is much healthier. I am with you on storing soups and eating with rice. Simple ,and filling when times are hard like now ! I, will be so happy when 2024 gets here !!!!😊 But,back to rice and bread . I , keep my bread in the fridge because I know it will keep for weeks. I, prefer Arnold's multi grains and seeded rye. Doctor Mandell on KZbin has taught me and many others healthy ways to take care of ourselves. Look, it up and see if he might be your cup of tea. I, also just discovered He Biblical nutritionist..You, her up on KZbin. You, might be impressed. We, are NEVER TO OLD to listen and learn .I am, 69 turn 70 in December. The first thing I'd want to share is: Canned lentil soup? I've always thought Amy's was great. A bit bland, but that's okay. However, Trader Joe's has a canned Organic Lentil Vegetable for less than half the price (same size) that, in my opinion, tastes actually way better. Probably more salt, I don't know. But it is fabulous, and for just $2.50 at my local store. I usually add rotisserie chicken - or these little tamales - to it and it's a full day's worth of eating. Always multiple cans in my pantry for a very easy, quick prepared meal choice. 10/10!

There are many canned products I avoid but canned corned beef hash is at the top of the list. At least among those talked about in this mashup that I have actually eaten. Canned "ham" is a close contender. On the other hand I actually like Spam. I only eat a can of Spam infrequently (i.e., a handful of times each year), usually sliced and fried alongside eggs and potatoes for breakfast, but that is primarily because (a) of its high salt content, and (b) it is expensive unless you can buy it discounted. What I find interesting is that some canned soups I love. At least when purchased at a discounted price. Such as Progresso or Campbells beef barley and chicken noodle soup. While other flavors, such as split pea soup, I won't buy even when heavily discounted. And I love split pea soup (at least when I make it from scratch).

Right? My doctor told me to increase my salt intake because apparently I am very low on sodium in my blood. He said I was the first patient he's ever told to use more salt, so take advantage of it and get some chips, and put a little salt in everything I make (we don't eat out, and rarely if ever buy processed food). I love the Himalayan pink salt too! It's awesome.

I went shopping with someone who was supposed to be watching their salt intake due to high blood pressure! What I found interesting 🤔 was that some of the LOW-SALT products were higher in salt than their regular products 😮😢🤔😉! I was disappointed that I found this out by simple reading the label's 😮, and I pointed this out to her!😮 Some even had a higher salt content than their regular products! I'm a big label reader because I chose to eat ORGANICS INSTEAD OF GMO'S for health reasons 😊🎉! So my suggestion is to read anything you chose to indulge in pertaining to your body period and your mind!! From your head to your toes 😢 and especially in your body or on your flesh, because it's going to be absorbed into your body and it will affect your health!!!! I also see a Medical LIGHTWORKER LLC and Herbalist to convert my Medication to the Original herb, for a cure not doctor for a Placebo effect 😉🤔! We only have 1 body, so we need to take our health seriously!🎉❤😊 We need to remember the old statement of population control that igsist! That came out year's ago😮!

Tomatoes of 2day are so modified and have suffered a large reduction in in nutrient value. Not the mention they are flaverless. Nothing compared to those of years ago. Eating them right off the vine was amazing. When I left a tomato in my counter top fruit basket for over 2 weeks and it was still firm gave me pause. That was the moment I ventured down the tomato research rabbit hole. .... Well I no longer eat the fruit I've always loved. I'm currently in search off real authentic heirloom seeds to grow my own.

You talk about "fat free" like it's something good but it's not. If they take out the fat they put something else in, like salt. If you're concerned about your health at all, don't go near fat free or low fat. Another thing in this video is that you put saturated fat in a bad light. Butter and other saturated fats are to be sought after, again, if you are concerned about your health. With the diabetes epidemic it's high time we start being concerned about eating low carbohydrate, high fat, and medium protein diets. Our society's future depends on it.

It’s pretty simple. Trans men and non binary people can have uteruses and carry children.

I'm not through this video yet, so I don't understand where this came from.... but..... I'll never understand how people, suddenly, can't define the word "woman". ~ Mamaw Christy

Are you serious? Are your children watching this? Is the term pregnant too much? Why are you crying? Maybe Mr. Roger's or Caillou would be a better choice for the kids.

When giving the serial numbers, or any identifying number, please differentiate between zero, and letter “o”. They are NOT one and the same. In the first part of this video, you gave the number for the ground beef as containing “o’s”, then repeated it saying “zero”.

Well, I guess can food is way better than no food at all or bugs. I will rather eat spam or corned beef than crickets, worms or roaches.

I appreciate the info about these products and options. I do have to say tho that this video kinda sucks. Everybody knows the processed foods are bad for you, yet they shouldn't be shaming people for buying food that they like to eat or food options that they can afford.
