I have been using mine for four years and they are brilliant, I have tried many other brands and these are great, but I do need to go outside the church a lot, as I mainly do funerals but only want to take a lightweight camera, not my broadcast unit and sound gear was thinking of trying the new dji system even though it has four frames of latency, would still use my Ace system as well.

They now have a smaller unit with longer range. Teradek ace 750. For thesame $1000

Coming to this after seeing something about the new 750. I was wondering if this still carries camera control data or anything. I know Teradek did have a wireless system that did that

Hm, the ace 500 doesn't. I haven't used the 750, but based on the price point I'm guessing not? But idk for sure

How would you compare this to the Hollyland Mars 4k? My church has been looking into that solution.

I think it's so much better. The hollyland had a lot of latency, and it felt like it degraded the signal quality quite a bit too! It looked promising, just didn't deliver for us

For HD the Hollyland Mars 300 is very good in image quality and range. I have two sets and I can recommend them without hesitation. There is a little bit of latency, and so you better have all your cameras on wireless to have the same latency if you’re doing live streaming. I also own one kit of Hollyland Mars 4k. The 4K version is also very good in range and the latency is similar to the Mars 300, and while not exactly the same latency than the Mars 300, it’s close enough that non professionals will not see any difference. But the image quality of the Mars 4K lacks a little bit of bandwidth, in order to make it shine. I mean, it’s better than HD, but it could be better to take on the full potential of 4K. But you have to take into consideration that it’s a $600 device and for that, it’s very good.

Teradek is a good system. Been using an old Bolt system for over 10 years.
