That's certainly one way of looking at this angel of Hashem figure, but He's always closely connected to God Himself...almost like it's a theophany, a very manifestation of God, in a way that human beings can handle (without being consumed by death.) Zechariah 12:8, when talking about a future event says, "On that day the LORD will protect the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be LIKE GOD, LIKE THE ANGEL OF THE LORD going before them. There's a book I've been meaning to get, that I'm told deals with this enigmatic figure and his relation to God. (Metatron? Jesus?) I believe it's called "Bodies of God "by Dr. Benjamin Sommer. Is that why Torah was changed LOL. Fourth, the data shows that the rabbis have changed their interpretation of the Hebrew word “mashiah” because they have rejected Jesus Christ and want to avoid the appearance that Jesus fulfills this prophecy. But the ancient Jews who lived before the time of Jesus had a different understanding than the modern day rabbis. Rabbis today refuse to accept the historic understanding of the prophecy that existed before Christ was born, was crucified, and resurrected because they reject Jesus Christ as the Messiah. The truth is Jesus fulfilled the prophecies of Psalm 2:2; Daniel 9:24-26; and Micah 5:2.

Rabbi and audience; here is the correct explanation for the genealogies in the New Testament: The Two Genealogies (Chuck Missler, K House) The Bible provides us with two lengthy genealogies of Christ. Matthew, as a Levite, focuses on the Messiahship of Jesus in that he traces the legal line from Abraham (thought to be the first Jew) through David, then Solomon and the royal line, to Joseph, the legal father of Jesus (Matthew 1:1-17) and the husband of Mary. Luke, as a physician, focuses on the humanity of Jesus. He traces the blood line from Adam (the Son of God versus us, the sons of Adam) and once Luke gets to Abraham, the genealogy is identical to Matthew’s up to the House of David. Then Luke goes from David, through Nathan (a different son of David) to Mary, the mother of Jesus (Luke 3:23-38).

​@@DavidDemursI used to be a very devout Muslim back in the day, I memorized the Quran, prayed and fasted, but one day I read in the Sunnah a story about Muhammed's sexual immorality. That story never settled with me, I would not have had a problem, had Muhammed not claimed that he was infallible, yet he did, meaning he was a liar. I left Islam, and that has hurt my perception of God, I tried to become a Christian, but the trinity and, the divinity of Jesus never got into my head, I found myself believing in the God of Israel, but not the Messiah Jesus, essentially pulling me to Judaism. I still live in my country of origin, I will abide by the seven Laws of Noah, and I will draw inspiration from the Torah.

Come on Rabbi, do a better job. You know that absolutely no Muslims consider Moses or Aaron to be literal uncles of Mary. It is figurative according to all interpretations. In fact, the bible refers to Mary , as the daughter of Aaron, yet people don't take that literally. The Quran refers to Mary, upon her be peace, as the “sister of Aaron” in reference to her descent from the lineage of the Prophet Aaron, upon him be peace. This type of reference is common in ancient Semitic languages and in the Bible. Allah said: يَا أُخْتَ هَارُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ امْرَأَ سَوْءٍ وَمَا كَانَتْ أُمُّكِ بَغِيًّا O sister of Aaron, your father was not a man of evil, nor was your mother unchaste. Surah Maryam 19:28 The Christians at the time of the Prophet objected to this verse on the grounds that it was meant literally, but the Prophet answered their question. Mughira ibn Shu’ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian monks asked me, “You recite the verse: O sister of Aaron (19:28), whereas Moses was born long before Jesus by such-and-such years.” When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said: إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا يُسَمُّونَ بِأَنْبِيَائِهِمْ وَالصَّالِحِينَ قَبْلَهُمْ Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had gone before them. Source: Sahih Muslim 2135, Grade: Sahih Ibn Kathir reported: علي بن أبي طلحة والسدي قيل لها يٰأُخْتَ هَـٰرُونَ أي أخي موسى وكانت من نسله Alli ibn Abu Talha and As-Suddi said: It was said to her: O sister of Aaron (19:28), meaning the brother of Moses because she was from among his descendants. Matthew's list of names refers to Joseph's lineage, (said to be relevant because he became the adopted father of Jesus.) It's not an exhaustive lineage (leaving out some "less important" names in order to fit into the "14 generations " listed. It's interesting to note that 14, 14 and 14 listed in Mathew,'s "generations" correspond to Dalet (4) Vav (6) and Dalet (4)--that's 14--and gives us the name David. Luke's genealogy of Jesus is believed to be from Mary. Together, they are believed to link Jesus directly to David and the royal line, and bring fulfillment to Genesis 3:15 (seed of the woman.) Mary's (the mother of Jesus) father was from the family of Amram and Mary's mother was from the family of Aaron. That is why Mary was called the Daughter of Amram and sister of Aaron in the Quran. Mary's father has direct relation that extends to Solomon and David.

Christians believe in letters that were written after The Law and The Prophets, we call them the New Testament. Jews believe in letters that were written after The Law and The Prophets, they call them the Talmud. Matthew 1:8 skips over Ahaziah, Athaliah, Jehoash, and Amaziah, two of whom were kings of Judah and all are well documented by other sources. Everyone is from two lineages. The lineage recorded in Matthew goes through King David to Joseph, the husband of Mary. The lineage recorded in Luke goes through King David to Heli, the father of Mary.

But again, Joseph is not the father of Jesus so it wouldn't matter EVEN if King David was the father OF Joseph. And Mary is a woman, In the bible, rights are inherited by the biological father; Priesthood, Land, and tribe. All those things have to be inherited from the biological father, not an adopting father and not a woman. The only thing that the woman determines is whether her child will be a Jew or not. And if I'm not wrong, Luke doesn't mention in the first place the lineage of Mary, only of Joseph...

The instructions and even how to write the torah scroll and how to read it acc to what punctuation, was and is all part of the oral torah. The talmud is a commentary of the mishna. The mishna is a abridged compilation of instructions on how to uphold the vague laws of the torah. As we are commanded in Deut 17 verses 10-13, we must, by God's instruction, listen to the torah sages and head judges that were in the Temple Court. All Jewish law today (except for 18 laws which the courts ruled like Shamai) go according to the head judge of the temple court Hillel the Elder, a century + before the 2nd temple was conquered etc. The talmud contains countless word for word teachings from the temple courts going back to the great assembly whom the prophets were part of at the beginning of the 2nd temple era. So, yes, the talmud has countless of things passed down directly from Moses as it clarifies "this is halacha from Moshe from Sinai". Seek truth.

And when a lady had insulted her because of such origins and she was crying, he consoled her by wiping her tears and saying: "Certainly, you are the daughter of a Prophet, Aaron, your uncle is a Prophet, Moses, and you are married to a Prophet, Muhammad; so what is she boasting to you about?" (Jami’ al Tirmidhi, 3894). Didn't the Prophet Muhammed really know that his own wife wasn't the direct daughter of Aaron? Come on! That's the reason you see the Bible addressing Jesus in several places as "the son of David" (Matthew 9:27), though we know David was not the father of Jesus. Another example is addressing the jews as "the children of Israel", we all know they are not the actual children of Israel which is another name of Jacob, but they are from his progeny. Mughira ibn Shu'ba reported: When I came to Najran, the Christian Monks asked me, “You recite the verse, ‘O sister of Aaron, (19:28)' but Moses was born long before Jesus by many years”?. When I came back to the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, I asked him about it and he said, “Verily, they would name people with the names of prophets and righteous people who had passed before them.”(Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2135). Let's see that from the Bible . In Genesis 14:14 and 14:16, Lot is referred to as Abraham's brother, even though He was actually Abraham's nephew. (KJV version). In John 8:37, Jesus tells to the disciples that I know that you are descendants of Abraham. In verse 39 They answered Him, “Abraham is our father”. Jesus said to them, “If you were Abraham’s children, you would do what Abraham did".... The Creator Master of the Universe gave the Torah at mount sinai infront of millions of people, millions of 1st hand witnesses. The entire Torah is about the lives of the people recieving the Torah, it details all the miracles and plagues they saw with their own eyes in egypt, at mount sinai, and in the desert for 40 years. If even 1 person who recieved the torah would deny what is written in it, ie: that the claims in it were not accurate, then you would know its not a divine book. God doesn't come to millions of people and tell them they witnessed something that their eyes did not actually witness. The people receiving the Torah would say "excuse me, when did this plague happen? When did the ocean split? I didn't see any of this! Why are you telling me and this whole people that these things happened to us when they didn't" The fact that everyone who recieved the Torah verified everything written in it as factual about their own lives and what their (3 million + people) own eyes witnessed is a seal to its divine origin/truth. No one would make themselves look like a fool coming to millions of people telling them "God gave me this book and it's about you and what you experienced" when none of it happened etc. Who knows better than them what actually and really happened? No one. Jewish people have an unbroken chain back to mount sinai.

In islam you do not have such a thing. The koran isn't a book that depicts any miracles that happened to them, because nothing happened to them, there are 0 witnesses, just wishful belief in one man's claims "i was alone in the desert and the angel gabriel came and spoke to me" [even if it were true, (and it isn't), revelation of angels is not prophecy, read hebrew scripture, God speaking directly to a person, that's prophecy, many people encountered angels and were not prophets, just more and more confused terminoloy by muslims]. Are there any prophecies in the koran? Zero. Copying prophecies from Hebrew scriptures is not called prophecy, even a newspaper can copy prophecies from hebrew scriptures, it doesn't make the author of the newspaper a prophet nor the newspaper a holy script. Show one new prophecy, there's NONE. Why? If he was a prophet why not even one? Because mohammed knew of himself that he wasn't a prophet. If a person knew of himself to not actually be a prophet but wants to propose that he is and give a book, he would never take a risk of giving prophecies of future events at the expense of risking exposing his being a false prophet. Why take such a ego defeating risk? Instead mohammed took a sword and whomever didnt believe in his claims he.... 👏👏👏. That's not only how islam started, but its the same religion after 1400 years. 2] The book of genesis is the book of genetics, it tells us the genetics of the nations, of ishmael, of eisav, of moav and amon, and of Jacob and his descendants etc. We have manuscripts of the torah that predate the birth of jesus and other ancient scrolls too, the dead-sea scrolls and the masada scrolls, and its the same torah as we have today.

As the gospels get later and later chronologically, they become more anti-Jew and pro-Rome. The theology of the gospels also does not harmonize with the writings of Paul. They are just different theologically.
