One of the Best Interviews Ever Done in Nigeria. Kudos to both parties for making it happen. No Matter what side you are own you left this interview with more information that you came in with. Good Job Guys

Unsurprisingly the best interview so far, D'banj is simply ambitious and should be a role-model to youths. Fantastic personality ,everyone makes mistakes. Olisa's respect in the industry allows the Celebrities to give more information too. Perfect pair!

Olisa was so disrespectful to Dbanj in this interview....you don't ask for the truth and then after hearing it, be arguing with your guest about it.... How can you say Top of the world wasn't a hit! What else do u need to certify it was a hit... It was the best song that came out of Nigeria in forever n played all over the world for months! But because it wasn't a club song Or because Don jazzy didn't produce, suddenly it's not a hit.... And the way he kept interrupting him n arguing with him about his other songs was just so offensive... Insisting dat top of d world was not his, Feeling d Nigga was Akon's song n that cocoa na chocolate wasn't written by him....smh! I'm not even a Dbanj fan but what kind of interviewer undermines his guest's achievements like that! So wrong!!
@Jagalopious10 жыл бұрын
@sarah oyeola, you are very right that is so rude and unprofessional of Olisa. If this is the truth then let d'banj say it and stop believing the ear-says as suppose to your guest trying to tell you the truth!

D'banj was really professional and kept his kool in this interview. I respect him even more for that. Of course D'banj has had a lot of hits but people are biased towards him because Jazzy broke out the news of the split first and made it look like it was D'banjs fault. I'm glad Olisa asked all these questions albeit in an annoying manner. D'banj needed it to clear his name and redeem his image. Everyone saw him as the bad guy when clearly he isn't. Huge fan!

D'banj is one OPEN MINDED PERSON, you have to have that type of a characteristic when you want to go beyond your backyard. Much respect my dear. Keep up the determination, people mistake his determination with ego. If you are determined to go somewhere and might lose certain things along the way... whats waiting for you on the other side is worth more than staying in your comfort zone. Love you D'banj.

i don't know where the rumors that hes broke came from.This guy is rich and influential.i love his global perspective.why be a local champion when you can be on top of the world.i would rather be on top of the world than be a big fish in a small pond. Not being around to tend to this petty things is the major cause of all these,but i think its all worth it. let 'em no good individuals continue to spew rubbish from the comfort of their homes via cheap smartphones and free data bundle trying to show that they've got an opinion on things rather ,they should tend to the direction of the course their lives are taking which is not worth living for the immediate persons around them

Olisa is an example of obstruction to Nigerian youths growing up with massive inspiration and hardworking achievement to represent Nigeria positively to the world. "Never ridicule and disrespect the hard work of man/woman". At least he's a positive role model rather than the opposite. I will suggest you to reflect "THE TRUTH" before composing random question with lies and humiliating your guests. Professionalism and emotional intelligence is required for your incompetence. What was your achievement at D'banj's age or even at your present age? My respect for you is out of the window.....Peace!

For the first time but I think I need to leave a comment here. D'banj was so real in this video and called a spade a spade but Olisa, like everyone has said out here you are very rude. You were disrespectful to D'banj please. I even felt insulted when after he told you he wrote the songs himself and it was produced here in Nigeria and you still questioned his integrity on that. What you did asking him to repeat himself was bad. You never said who said but always wanted details from D'banj and yet you call your show " The Truth", getting your facts rights before coming on air would do you good. If you are not ready to be truthful yourself then don't expect your guest to be aswell. D'banj keep being yourself and may God continue to lead you and yes its ok to say no to some certain interviews, you have earned it.
@shabee602610 жыл бұрын
Olisa is so disrespectful to D banji. I would have stopped the interview and walked him out of my house if I was D banj. It's so obvious he came with a negative notion. Besides, I advise Olisa should learn how to conduct a professional interview. Other actist should learn not to allow this joke of a guy called Olisa to interview them.

The truth is a good platform BUT omg olisa this interview isn't ACCEPTABLE you can't disrespect someone hardwork like that, seem you're one of the people praying for dbanj downfall. 1st what's good music in Nigeria? There's a difference between being provocative as an interviewer and taking the piss. Olisa was clearly doing the latter in this interview and it so disappointing on his part. I am probably Dbanj's biggest fan since I finished high school in 2004, now I am married with kids and I don't feel any different. D'banj is a star in his own class (the highest class there is), all that he does comes naturally to him. I went through the first few 10 or so comments and everyone could see how unprofessional Olisa is. His bias and hate for this guy was clear as day. I was so disgusted each time Olisa interrupted him. If anything, my love for D'banj just quadrupled. I was actually kissing my screen when D'banj put Olisa in his place "get ur facts right" "take it back" "if no be say we don tey, I for don tell you NEXT"..... lmao... We don't need a lie detector test to tell wen someone is telling the truth. Dbanj's confidence and refusal to paint anybody black has to be commended. Even before this interview, I completely rubbished all rumours regarding Dbanj, only immature or follow follow people will pay that attention. He cnt be stopped cos he doesnt dwell on hate nor does he allow it any space in his head and heart, instead he converts it into a fuel for his motor. Many other artistes wld feel small talking to Olisa as he kinds of represents the establishment media in Nigeria. Towards the end of the interview, notice how Olisa the hater switched his attack and claimed he was only trying to fire Dbanj up. DBANJ IS A LIVING LEGEND and still harbours no hate for Olisa but I know that his respect or regard for Olisa just went down the drain. LOVE YOU DBANJ.
