But to be honest Dipset already lost when they showed up disorganized, not in que and they were very distant with each other. The Lox were very in sync with each other and organized. The LOX vs Dipset thing might as well be a metaphor for what hip hop is as a whole. Dipset was favored because they're cultural icons, mostly via fashion and people wanting to be them. The LOX always been regarded as legends but they aren't cultural icons in the sense that none of us as kids said "I wanna be like Styles" or "I wanna be like Jada". Amazing MCs and we always knew that, but if most kids who grew up then had a choice we'd rather be apart of Dipset.
