I am a stocky guy, 5’11, 220lbs but have muscular thighs. I ordered a size XL in the essentials track pants and it literally fit like leggings when I usually wear an XL in Adidas track pants and a L in Nike track pants. Once again just goes to show that they need to do better with sizing for their bigger customers

I’ve bought 3 items from essentials, hoodie, t-shirt and Henley. The sizing on the t-shirt and hoodie where spot on (I wear a large) but the Henley was a little tight. All three have been through several washes and have remained in good condition especially the t-shirt, I’ll be ordering more of those.

From the 4th collection: Loved the long sleeve, XS fit amazing on me. The henley however only thing I really disliked was the button placket and to pull up the sleeve. Love wearing Henley's and unbuttoning them and rolling up the sleeves but esntls henley I would have that fully unbuttoned and it still closes in looking as if it's still fully buttoned plus I could barely get the sleeves up (that's not much of a complaint). Looking to try the henley for their 5th collection

The brand may be fine, but I don't really like Jose himself. His video production quality is inconsistent, he doesn't catch easily fixable mistakes, and something about "best blah blah in the world hands down no joke bro" doesn't settle well with me. Just an opinion though!

I own one of their hoodies. They fit perfectly. By far the best fitting hoodie I own. My main complaint is that the draw cords fall off easily when you throw it in the washer. Also, the material is nothing special. It's regular cotton like every other hoodie/sweater. It'll definitely shrink after some time. Mine feels a lot smaller now compare to when I first bought it. Definitely worth owning one for it's fit but outside of that it's just a regular hoodie. $60 is a little pricey for what you're getting. It's not like the t-shirts where it's made of some unique fabric. The tshirts are definitely worth buying. The hype is real imo.

Is having a shirt absorb your sweat easier really a good thing? Scientifically, it increases heat retention and the goal should be to wick sweat. Athletic materials are made to not make you look soaked. It’s not like its intended use was for the gym anyway 🤷‍♂️.

Good points made, it all comes down perosonal preference. The bamboo cotton short sleeve is moisture wicking but the tencel is moisture obsorbant. You got to pick what works best for you.

I wish esntls would be open for everyone to buy and not so limited. At least the shirts like the basic t-shirts should be available most of the time. It would be cool to have different versions or colors that are limited but not white, black, grey, navy, etc.

I have had a basic tee from their first launch that still retains it's color and fit. I never tumble dry any of my shirts. These are by far the best fitting tees I have ever purchased. I will not buy any this launch just because I still have two in the packaging from the last launch and the rest of their line just looks ordinary to me. I was hoping they would add a different color in the basic tee line but alas they did not or I might have purchased another. BTW that long sleeve white tee looks good on you.

Over the past 2 years I've stopped trusting brands I only discover via youtubers. I used to watch all the bigger channels but they are just 8 min videos with 5 mins of ads in them. I don't know how to feel about this brand, considering is was created by one of the big youtubers who has that video format. Whenever I see threads on reddit discussing high quality clothes, or just good basics in general, this brand has never come up once. I've only learned of it through influencers and other youtubers, which sends me the wrong vibe. I want this brand to have some sort of standing out outside of Jose's army. I will go do some research on the brand, but what worries me the most is a youtuber making a video about this brand, saying how amazing it is, but then all the comments are the exact opposite of what the youtuber said. I'm really glad you address almost every comment, it shows you aren't scared of taking risks and like to engage. Another KZbinr uploaded a video yesterday about Jose's brand but It went way worse than yours, mostly because It again seems like one giant advertisement. I appreciate your honesty so much with the fact you said you will say its shit if it actually is, not just letting the money speak, You don't have to make a video on it, but somehow you should totally make a update on how the clothes have held up. Hey thank you. I would say this is more versatile than any other shirt on that list, but I wouldn't get rid of my others and replace them all with ESNTLS. They all have their best uses, but the ones from this video work for multiple occasions/activities in a way that my others don't. For instance, my Zara textured shirts are one of my all time favorites but I would never wear them to the gym or sleep in them, you feel me?

I haven't tried them and I kinda want to but I am sceptical about the fit. I know they say that the sleeves are perfect and it's not boxy but my problem with literally any tee is that it's way too long even if I get my right size and every other aspect is fine. So how's the length on shorter guys?
