I'm in Upstate New York and we catch these on the bank of the river all the time we just walk up and down the Delaware River picking up Flat Rocks in the mud and you'll find the ton of them throughout the early summer

I've been using hellgramite lures in the creek in my area of Central Pennsylvania with amazing results. Not being a super experienced angler I didn't realize I was accidentally doing it correctly though casting across and just letting the current take it lol. Go me!

I had an 80yr old neighbor give me a bowl full of live helgremites. They were at least 6in or longer. Used 2 after getting pinched a few times gave them to neighbor.
