So much well-researched and really helpful knowledge! I started using visualization after watching your video when trying a trick and it really helps me commit. Also loved the vids on nutrition and hydration. I got back into skating last year at age 24 and i plan to keep skating for a looong time so this channel will accompany me for a while :D this vid right here explained to me why i got back and chest pain from intense shuv-it training: i used to just quickly stomp my heels to the ground to catch the trick, sending all the force into my body at once.

I am looking for some proper shit to work, because i do slave shitty job and spending plenty (99%) of work time on foot... So need some shock absorbing insoles, but i am not going to spend 50 pounds for this o_O.... Will rather buy brand new dickies working boots i wear all the time, till default insoles are destroyed

@@TheDailyPush I should also mention I am almost 30 and have only just come back to skateboarding recently been back a few months but weather as you probably know had been awful so had only a few weeks to skate. And I must admit the first few times I skated the heel bruse was unbelievable but its to be expected as I had not skated I quickly got the footprints and let my heels heal up since then no bruse and I think that is important information because its not like I even gave my heels time to adapt so the fact it instantly stopped the bruse and I purposely sent bigger tricks to test them I was doing ollies down gaps and stuff and slamming my tricks down on the bolts to really test them. It's actually really surprising how good they are.

great video keep them coming! I actually bought a pair of the kingfoam orthotic insoles from F.P to help with my plantar fasciitis, but I found out that I couldn't wear skate shoes because they didn't have enough arch support. I wear running trainers now that have much better arch support with different orthotic insoles that are comfy. However, when I've recovered from my heel pain I'm excited to skate in the F.P insoles. Any tips for rehabbing plantar fasciitis?

plantar fasciitis is a result because something else in your body is causing it, mainly tight calves, but can also be knee problems, glut strength or hip problems. Arch support relieves a bit but is not fixing the main problem. FP insoles help not because its the most comfortable insoles out there, but because its the best at reducing impact forces. THey will help your knees, hips, joints reduce wear and tear. With your plantar fasciitis, i recommend checking athlean-x exercises for it. It actually helped mine.

Hey mate cheers for the vid.. which fp insoles do you go for? I tried some of the game changers for my Shane sbs, and while I appreciated the shock absorption, they were just to strange with the arch support etc it felt like I had something in my shoe so I switched back to the rubbish insole already in the Shane sbs. Was thinking maybe a more flat fp insole would work for me cos I’m and old bugger but do want to look after me knees and ankles etc so defo intrigued by fp insoles as I still need board feel. 🤙

I don’t get it - i bought a pair of fp insoles that fit your heel when heated and they are super hard. My heel actually got hurt while skating them because they don’t seem to absorb impact and are pretty thin. But I can’t find any other comment like this, can it be defective?🤷‍♂️

I had 4 sets of those insoles. Only one of them were working for me - kingfoam orthotics, they were kinda cool but it was not a big difference from other insoles. Game changers were hurting my feets so bad, like I skate barefoot (yes, I did that oven thing and molded them to my feet). Next type are kingfoams.I had old ones thick as hell, they were kinda good (landing primo was not bad at all) but after maybe 1 hour sesh my calves and knees fell like they going to blow up. With second pair of kingfoams (newer type, but antecedent those green ones) I had same problem as You. They were super hard, while they should be soft and gentle after warming up but they were not (btw they broke in half in my shoe idk how, that upper layer of canvas or whatever hold them in one piece). Overall in my opionion based on my experience with 4 sets of those insoles they are not something that special. It's more like marketing thing and placebo for me (people are freaking out if glass don't brake under insoles same with eggs, but who cares what is going on under your insoles and shoes if knees are hurting so bad after landing). To be honest I stick with stock vans insoles and for me they are working much metter than fp. Those new insoles "pop hd something" are great and I'm not obligate to pay extra money for them. If you want extra protectoin in nike sb shoes with super thin insoles, than buy dr sholes gel insoles or whatever. You will feel difference anyway from stock insoles.
@mechitofy
@mechitofy 3 жыл бұрын
@@emzeeet might agree on the placebo effect. I started to ride puffy oldschool shoes such as eS accell OGs that come with already thick sole and I have no problems with hurting heels, knees or back since then. I don’t miss the thin insole “board feel” as well. I think it’s also a current marketing trend
