The pricing you mentioned for picotin 18 is about right but that is for standard Clemence leather for picotin because Clemence leather is slouchy and picotins are meant to slouch. The pricing varies greatly on leather type ( if it is ostrich, crocodile, cloth canvas/ toile, swift leather etc) or if it is what they call picotin touch wherein it has a “touch” of exotic leather on the handles and lock strap (cheaper than a full exotic leather bag). I think the only solution for this is for Hermes to put a quota on all these resellers. Some resellers are able to get several covetable quota bags per store visit when the average income earning person can only get max two quota bags a year on a normal pre-spend amount. 😬
