I am very similar to you I use to dress in my sisters dresses when I was young, I was 16 and had a relationship with a boy, I got married in my 20s I told her about my relationship with my friend and cross dressing she didn’t mind, our marriage ended just over 31 years when she passed away she was a lovely lady, we had 4 children they knew about me as I told them, I have a female partner who let’s dress so i am lucky in that region. So don’t give up you do what you want to and I wish you well, YOU LOOK GORGEOUS in that dress. LOVE from JULIA. ❤❤❤

April, it depends on the person. I am on estrogen hormones for 6 months now and there's no weeping or or mood swings. I am perfectly calm , reassured, practical, logical. Nothing upsetting whatsoever. I finally feel AT PEACE with myself, my body and who and what I am. There is a great calm and sense of serenity. All I feel is this amazing PEACE. Mind you, I'm a religious person so that might contribute to inner peace as well. God bless, Marisa

Hi April. That was a very honest and open account of your life so far. When you previously mentioned what your wife did after her holiday I felt she had been planning that, then talking with her sister who backed her up, hence her attitude when she returned. However, every cloud has a silver lining as it was the start of your new life as April. Your plan ahead seems very sensible as the first and most important thing is that you are quite comfortable in yourself as you are and aren't in any panic or rush and have support from family, and work, so a great start. Some comments here will tell you it depends on the individual how HRT works and may not be as bad as you may think but you always have that option. The GRC clinic is a huge wait, four years minimum so your contingencies are realistic as you can't rely on any time scale to plan your transition so if you can work out how to pay yourself it will smooth the path, but it isn't cheap as you realise. It's always a joy to read your chippy posts which are always open and down to earth. Thank you April. Oh and love the dress.....

Those side effects you mentioned from hormo e therapy are what women deal with all the time! It's not easy. God Bless you April..take your time making these life altering decisions. Facial hair I can see but the rest are serious surgeries. Think twice😊 From someone who has had 4 surgeries in 4 years trying to stay alive from cancer.

Personally I don't think you need any facial surgery, you look fab, I'm on HRT and its not made me into an emotional wreck, but everyone is different. hope you hair extensions go well, I'm trying to grow mine, its a long process 🙂

Hi April sounds like you have a sensible long term plan thats great .yes it will take time but it will be well worth it in the end. Just remember April you are not yet who you want to be but you are a long way from the person you used to be. You have come a long way in your journey to become April. I totally agree dont take hormones. i was on Hormones 10 years ago after my hysterectomy it was awful.i had weight gain and mood swings came off it after a year ,best thing i ever did so dont be tempted.. Hi April. You look so nice today in your summer dress. I understand about your marriage has I was in a relationship and than marriage for 8 years. After our son was born all the love. Sex and affection had stopped for 6 years, but like you I stayed with her even tho I didn't get any sex or love. I feel my ex just wanted me to give her kids and when I did than I was nothing. I still pay maintenance for my son who is now 17 but which I've not seem or heard from in 6 years cos my ex didn't stick to the court agreement and I can't afford to take her back to court. So I just hope in the future that he will get in touch. But it's not fare even tho she was the one who had a affair and ended our marriage. Xx

Miss the hormones sounds like you would go into menopause it's not very nice I know how you feel as im finding hair on the chin not nice no one can tell how you will react but if I could stop it I would or you would still be shaving twice a day.I think if you are comfortable with the way you're living your life subtle changes would give you maybe more confidence you already started with your clothes and hair it is all tri by Error im sure you will change more as you go at the end of the day it the start of your new life April so go with the flow. x
