When I was being bullied in high school, I became very angry and protective of myself. When someone would start a conversation with me, even if they just wanted to be friendly, I would be rude and just tell them to go away. I wasn't calling anyone slurs or anything like that. All I see is a kid so scared to be used all over again. He's been through a lot of pain since he was young. He's been through pain again by losing people he used to call friends. So he doesn't know who to trust anymore. Its a defense mechanisim for every human to act according to how they were treated by others. I admire how strong Jeffree is. He was able to get out of that situation over and over and still manages to have businesses that employs a lot of people and be happy and funny in front of the camera even though he is hurting. I went through the same thing until I met this kid named Keith. We weren't close friends at all,but he knew I self harmed and was the only person who'd care. On days I was glum and in long sleeves he'd make me show him my arms,and if he saw anything new he'd sit with me and have me talk about whatever was hurting me and would talk to me about not doing it again. It was insanely helpful to me and was one of the main things that stopped me from self harm, because the fear of disappointing him every time he looked at my arms overpowered my will to actually harm myself

To think that people would use self mutilation and depression or a troubled past against anyone is just horrible. I'm not a huge Jeffree Star fan but I can say I have respect for him now. What’s sad is that when jeffree was younger and always wearing black clothes and crazy hair etc, people made so much fun of him and bullied and judged him so much that he self harmed and had dark thoughts. It’s so so so upsetting to me when people just never think about that persons life, like what they are doing to that person when they call them weird. I will never understand bullies or nasty people, how can you look at someone and call them names or say anything hurtful to them just because of what they look like. Breaks my heart.. now look at jeffree, those same people probably trying to be his best friend now.. You can really see Jeffree’s true personality show when he goes to his old apartment. He said “I lived here for 8 years” with pride on his face. I get it. He jokes about all his money and his materialistic things, but to the core, Jeffree came from nothing and built his own life from the ground up and he’s been proud of every milestone, even the ones not covered by bling and Gucci. I love him. He’s so authentic and I admire that.
