I love these two. There's a lot of competition in the home improvement TV market, but these guys just outshine all the others. It's not just the amazing relationship they have, it's the designs and their style that I love. These shows need to be shown on daytime TV in the UK, not late at night, as it is now. I love both of you, you remind me of our marriage, Phil is not the one to to change...After we married, the house that was close to my mom and dad's house, guess what, it was then over a hundred year old. However, today it is a nice house, needs remodeling, but still the great old house that was build in the many, many years, we estimate of over a hundred years. Hard work and being tenacious helps - renovating has been our passion for close to thirty years. We rarely hire crews or contractors and are very hands on. The one project I enjoyed the most was masonry when I built a 35 foot long 4 foot high fieldstone wall with cap, I found my niche and I enjoy doing it for a hobby. My hubby mixes the mortar and I lay the stones I see it like a puzzle, and I enjoy visualizing the results. @@gloriahanes6490 Good advice. I've actually started doing that in the past couple years and my life is going good. I have some new interests now too. Went back to college and about to graduate with an associates in applied Science with an emphasis in welding. I'm hoping to use that to do some art projects with metal one day and possibly do some custom stuff for cars or motorcycles. I'm pretty excited. Welding can definitely be an art I think from how well you weld and make the bead look to fabricating so much cool custom stuff nobody has seen before.
