Yamato had the longest continuous fight (without getting KO'd or BFR'd or running out of Haki) with Acoc Hybrid Kaido out of anyone else on the Roof. She also lasted the longest whilst expending some of the most Advanced Conqueror's Haki over the longest course of time. Kaido wasn't necessarily holding back, but that doesn't mean he was giving everything he had either. Holding back means you pull your punches, he wasn't doing that, clearly as his basic attacks were still clad In Conqueror's Haki, and he was still in Hybrid form. He clearly perceived her as a larger threat than the initial supernova roster that pulled up, and the Scabbards before them. Remember, this man regularly beat on her, she'd been bloodied up as a small child, so at the very least Kaido was attempting to KO her like he's done before. He then would've likely thrown her back in a cell. The framing was Disingenuous, as we know how strong Yamato is even with Kairoseki weakening her physically. A thunder bagua was able KO Ulti briefly, as it knocked her out of Dino form. Yamato later fends off an angry Luffy while still having the cuffs on. Even after fighting Kaido and taking those Conqueror's Coated hits, she was still running around and fighting as well as accomplishing other missions. Kaido was also stated to have grown weaker post Yamato fight lol. It's like I get where you were coming from, but we're not about to act like Yamato didn't give the best 1v1 to Kaido. Luffy may hit harder, sure, But gauging fights ain't only about AP. Luffy's stamina is and has always been a point of contention. In any fight, if you run out of stamina to the point where you literally can't move or defend yourself...*You've lost.* That's the rule. Yamato hadn't faltered all Arc and was still cooking Tobbi Roppo in a vastly weakened base state.

I dont think shes too overrated, sure there are some crazy people who dont know how to scale saying she is like right bellow luffy but in general the highball scale for her is a little above zoro which isnt too inconsistent. No one is out here argueing that she is at all yonko level, she is pretty consistently going to get to YC2-YC1 levels in power.

I see Yamato's idolizing Oden just like Luffy idolizing Shanks even though Garp was right there. Oden was living the way Yamato wanted to live (both as a man and a protector of the weak) so he became her idol. Kaido accepts the idea that Yamato can be his son but not a soft hearted person like Roger or Whitebeard

Honestly looking back now it's more like Luffy Idolizing Roger would be a better comparison and even then he still doesn't try to be Roger because he likely knows himself, his dream, and true will. I have a theory that Yamato is heavily held back by their mentality.

@@zelz3011 nah, Luffy never showed that kind of interest in Roger. It was Shanks he admired so much. He didn't even know Shanks was on Roger's crew and didn't seem to care that he was Ace's dad

Yeah. I wish I could explain away things in the powerscaling community like this one day. Yeah I always thought that about the White Serpent Attack that Luffy's Jet Culverin landed and probably was the force kinda like I don't remember if it was Dragonball with Hercule or One Punch Man or another series or if this is just a troupe in some series where a character lands an attack maybe not confident it usually closing their eyes and another character who is faster and stronger lands an attack at the same time or before to give the first character the impression they actually did something. THEY DIDN'T!

It's mid dif, she has Acoc and practiced with it, its like a Hell Zoro fighting him but with blunt attacks.

Yamato is first commander level like in par with law and zoro with COC haki so she has the potential To become yonko level

I just appreciate that she is a girl fighter that actually throws hands and not some hax. Like Boa mostly uses the beam and arrows, Robin does one pose and thats about it, Nami throws the clime tact, etc. Good on not using male pronouns too😂 that shit cringe everytime i hear it in a video, tap out. And do u have yamato under or above zoro?
