You're the first pickleball paddle reviewer I've seen use any ratio. Swing weight to Twist Weight is brilliant

Thank god for data-driven scientific channels like yours - absolute breath of fresh air! The majority of other channels try sound objective but just wind up falling into the pitfalls of anecdote. At least John Kew trends a bit more towards objectivity with his cutaways/deconstruction/magnification of the paddles he reviews, but it still boils down to a lot of platitudes on how things "feel".

There is a ton of pickleball content on youtube but I've found Dustin's data driven approach to paddle reviews to be the most objective! Subbed!

It's absolutely fantastic to have statistically accurate comparison of the different types of paddles. Clarified a lot for me in the murky ocean of pickleball paddles. Appreciate all the work you do.
@masteringr67143 ай бұрын
Thanks for this comparison. For the swing weight:twist weight ratio you might want to split it out but shape since the shape of the paddle heavily influences those factors. You’d get smaller n’s but that would get rid of that confounding factor.

Thanks for the vid! Just picked up the J2 recently and saw this video. The sw to tw ratio definitely reinforced my decision. Just hope it comes soon!

Wow, great data and presentation. I have found paddle performance data to be uniquely related to the individual. Swing weight above 115 is a drag for me. Likewise the comparison of power and control. My natural grip and mechanics absorb more energy therefore I lean toward power to help drop and dink success. Keep up the good work!
