Yes, for me anyway. There far more beautiful places in Thailand without so many tourists, but I guess it depends on what you want. The great uneducated assume I have never travelled anywhere else and, therefore, have to pretend that this is paradise. Yes, if you're sitting in "Shithole Britain" and an exciting day out consists of visiting central Reading or, god forbid, the shite that is London, then, of course, this is paradise, but, if you have been fortunate enough to have grown up in a beautiful country and have had the opportunity to visit some amazing places in the world, then I feel, objectively, that I am entitled to my own opinion, and I can tell you, I have visited far better places than Koh Samui. Having said that, if Koh Samui floats your boat, then, more power to you, but for me, no thank you.
