I am very grateful to have grown up in Singapore and to be living in this beautiful place. Singapore is an amazing country with many beautiful sights, conveniences, and people that we often take for granted. This week I went spent some time by myself to update my LinkedIn, as well as to be hyper-productive at work and level up in terms of my professional career. If you are a person in your late 20s trying to navigate life, or you're in your late 20s living alone in Singapore, maybe you can relate to this video. Hi everyone! I was having a bad week for several different personal reasons, some of which I shared in this video, but others which I don't feel ready to share online. I realized after re-watching this video that it might look like I'm complaining a lot about very trivial things (like my computer not working properly or my camera falling), but I would like to clarify that it was more like I was already having a bad day and then stuff like this happens on top of it. So I would like to sincerely apologize in advance if this part of the video may be offensive to anyone. But despite all of that, I also acknowledge that I have a lot to be grateful for and I think that I should try to always consistently remember that. Sometimes, it's hard to lose sight of that when there are multiple unfortunate things happening at once. For those of you who are also going through something at the moment, let's all get through this together. ✨

Hi Sherryln, your video shows a honest and true perspective of a young executive. Ignore the negative remarks, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. As far as I am concern, your spoken English is fine. Remain positive and strive hard and eventually you will see better days! Living in Singapore is very fortunate, there is no war, no famine, plenty of career opportunity if one is hungry and willing to work hard.

This is a time of change so doing things in a normal way will put you in a rut. Pamper yourself if need be just to be off the rut. You should feel better by the change expected by the end of the first week of May. Positivity is the key. Its in the mind really. Focus.

I use "like" a lot in my daily speech as well! I say it so often it's starting to bother me when I say it out of habit coz now I'm so conscious about it. Being a Singaporean myself, I find other people around me also including that word frequently in their sentences but honestly Im not annoyed or anything (probably because I do it myself lol)

Yo, don't let negative feedback/criticism get to you. Be honest with yourself and take on feedback earnestly and use it to improve your content and quality. But try to detach emotionally from it, feedback is only useful for allowing you to improve. Anything else, like hate or arbitrary negativity, you can just throw away. All the best to you! Keep on moving forward regardless.

Don’t be discouraged by the negative comments. Nobody post the perfect video when they are starting out. Keep doing it and you’ll get better. Don’t give up.

Your video is fine. Trouble is your voice is breaking, and you seem sianz. The most energetic part of the video was of you biting into a bun. Viewers can encourage you but ultimately we don’t want to feel sianz. Pretty, articulate, can do KZbin editing well. Hope you get more friends or purpose in life and snap out of it.
