My dog has separation anxiety and is actually smart enough to not eat his food when he sees that we are leaving. I think he tries to wait until the last second because when we get home he sprints to his food and eats like a pig because he’s obviously starving.

my sister in law had a pitbull at one time that saved my 22 year old from being kidnapped she almost ripped off the guys arm, and than after he left, h she turned to my child and directed my kid towards the door of the house, and my 25 year old daughter was hugging the dog for saving her baby sister

My brother used to have the sweetest pit but. She was so gentle that my nephew used to take naps as a toddler curled up ontop of the sleeping dog. That dog didn't realize her size and strength, always trying to jump on people. I learned after the first visit never to sit on the floor or she would knock me over and like all of the makeup off my face. It was soo hard to get her off me as she was too strong and heavy. Usually the only thing that could get her out of the way was food. If the pitbull isn't trained properly, then can knock someone over and injury them just trying to say hi. And some people who are allergic to dogs also get hives from dog saliva. I know I did with Pit Bulls. I love pit bulls and think they are great, but some of his fears are valid. If you have a big dog, making sure they don't jump on people and scare them is your job as an owner.

Fun (but little known) fact poodle 🐩 "full-sized" are actually more vicious/loyal/protective than pitbulls and Dobermans combined.

The small 5OR TOY° poodles (not the miniature ones) are even more protective and being poodles have very strong teeth/jaws in spite of their size. Then again, he does seem to stay well away from dogs, so he might simply associate looks and general good behaviour of the poodles in a lady's handbag with his idea of a weaker dog. Poodles used to be war dogs in Germany until the arrival of the German shepherd, so if you hear of a small dog having defended a stranger's child against pitbulls and saved the child, but often either died or lost a leg in the battle, the odds are it was a poodle. And sadly, dog fights organizers know that.

i have a relative who has pitbulls. one of them already knows me and receives me with a wagging tail and that friendly "smile" dogs make when they like you. the other one i dont trust. she gives me a look of fear. a scared/tense dog has a very high likelihood of biting you. so i dont approach that one. she was a rescue, apparently had a very rough life and doesnt trust most humans.

The “American Pitt Bull” is not a dog that has been carefully bred and is not an AKC recognized breed. They’ve been mostly bred by idiots for profit. They have issues with dementia too and generally don’t make it past 8-9 years old. By contrast I’ve owned a Miniature Pinscher who lived to be 15. My Doberman Pinscher lived to be 14. And my Pomeranian lived to be 16. I had to watch my Doberman around my cats. She was a sweet dog who never even tried to harm a human. But she had a high prey drive. She’d snap bugs out of the air and go after birds, rats, and mice in my backyard. Pit Bulls have an incredibly high prey drive. Again, they’re bred by idiots. The original, real, actual breed is the American Staffordshire Terrier. I’ve never heard of an Am Staff killing anyone. But nearly every dog/human fatality involves a Pitt Bull.

I had a DoxyDoby he was cool looking massive chest. Staying at a motel for awhile we pull up like we always do and Archie hops out and takes off around corner. I hear a guy screaming I get around there and dude is on top of coke machine an Archie wagging his tail. He was so PROUD. I had to help the guy down and Archie was kissing him that he was sorry. Next day another guy walks in between Archie and car. You DON'T do that. He was chained but guy was on top of my car in a second. He was super friendly but he loved to freak people out.

Hey Arthur! I agree with the ‘loving your neighbor’ reminder you sent in. But I couldn’t help but focus on the fact that you’re not a Christian. Doing my part of loving my neighbor, I’d like to present the gospel (good news) to you! We as human beings have something called a sinful nature, which means we find pleasure in doing things that are disobedient to God. God hates sin. God is holy (perfect in all ways), and He punishes those who have sinned with eternal hellfire. There is, however, one way to make it to Heaven. Getting into Heaven isn’t about if you’re a good or bad person, but it’s whether if you have sincerely asked Jesus to cleanse you from your sins or not. The harsh truth is we deserve eternal punishment in hell for our disobedience towards God, but Jesus (God in human form), was born of a virgin, He lived a perfect and sinless life, died on the cross to pay the payment we owe God for our sins, and was resurrected three days after death into Heaven. You can’t be cleansed by your own works (helping out homeless, etc), it’s good to be a good person, but it doesn’t save you from hell. There is no other way into Heaven than by asking Jesus to save you and for mercy and forgiveness. Only by Jesus Christ may you be forgiven and saved for eternity! God can give you a pure heart that you will forever be thankful for. Ask Him to forgive you of your sins and help you to REPENT (to change and turn away from sin, and turn to God), and to transform you and give you a relationship with Him and to live for Him. Just imagine having a personal relationship with the God of the universe. This is an offer that shouldn’t be resisted, we don’t deserve His forgiveness, but He extends it out to us, and He wants to be reconciled with you personally!! Much love ❤️
