yeah I used to wear it at work and im TELLING U, uber drivers, coworkers, baristas, waiters even random people on the street would stop me and be like “what perfume are you wearing that smells amazing”. It really is a head turner so if you’re into getting that “impressed” attention, defo get it. I stopped wearing it after a week cause I ain’t stopping every 5 mins of my life to explain what I’m wearing lol. I defo wear it for occasions now or if I do wear it daytime I literally spray it once, its enough.

if you want a very good hybrid between ombre leather and tuscan leather then get Lattafa Velvet Oud , spray a good 12 sprays and let it sit for a month and then thank me. also ombre nomade smells somewhat similar to velvet oud with a toned down leather note

This is similar to scorpion oud fragrance and Royal. Scorpion is just over a 100 pound and royal which is a good clone may be around £50 which is a good not much difference.

I worked for LV when Ombre first came out and i put so many man onto this fragrance in the early days. Was such an easy up-sell. I would take loads of the Ombre samples home and trust me the samples are waaay more potent. Blame me for making the fragrance bait amongst the mandem.

I definitely found my samples to be more potent, but that a new bottle does begin to "strengthen" a bit over time. Hoping it eventually gets to be where my samples are at!

@@ComplexWork it seems so. I really cant say for 100% certainty. I got a sample of Ombre Nomade about a month ago, loved it, a single spray lasted for many hours. I bought a (200ml!) Bottle of Ombre Nomade from the same store not long after, and it came with another sample of it. The 200ml bottle smelled the same, but was nowhere near as strong. I tested the 2nd sample and.. just like the first, it's strong! I tested the sample bottle at the LV store and it's the same as my bottle. My thoughts are that the samples were either an older batch and it was reformulated.. or they're a higher potency (probably getting around it by saying it's a sample and it helps you smell it better) or the samples are a bit more macerated and just seem stronger. I've found that letting the full bottle sit DOES already show some performance improvements from when I first got it (as is the case with most fragrances), but it's just weird because the sample was SO noticeable.

It does feel like Ombre Nomade was reformulated. I first got the sample in 2019. Received it in 2021 and it wasn't as potent. However, I still receive so many compliments from it. Sprayed it at 10am one morning and received compliments for it at 2am when I arrived back at my home airport. I think our noses get so used to the scent that we can't notice it as much.

I see frag community was bored with Aventus batches so now they moved to ombre nomad. I got recent batch and it takes 2 hours to reach full potential. When I hear that someone barely smell it after 2h I recommend to get your ass checked by some specialist.

Already got The Moon by, Frédéric malle (750$ 100ml ) and it seems to have very similar composition . Except Bertrand Cavallier for LV put synthetic oud and Julien Rasquinet for FM use RÉAL Indian Oud . Big gap !

I recently bought a full size bottle of ombre nomade it was a 2022 batch and it lasted 2 hours on my skin and didn't project that much and it felt like a skin scent, at first I thought I was nose blind to it but I kept asking people if they can smell my fragrance an hour after I sprayed it and they can hardly detect it, I also heard a term called maceration but I don't know how to do it and there isn't a lot of videos that explain how it's exactly done, can someone help me if anyone has the same problem with their fragrance I'd really appreciate it thank you!!

To let your fragrance macerate or mature, just spray it once or twice to allow oxygen to get into the bottle then let it sit for a few weeks or months. The longer you let it sit, the more it will develop (up to you how long you want). It's also recommended placing the bottle in a dark, dry, cool place while it macerates but also in general for all fragrances. Hope that helps :)

@A Da one thing I will say is once you do the initial purchase of the LV you can go into their stores and they will refill ombre nomade for £180 putting it in line with penhaligons. So if you think long term it's not really that bad. You'll pay £190 for Halfeti (Refills approx £150)

I'm not quite sure about this one. Growing up being Muslim I can definitely get a reminder of this scent DNA. It was pretty much rinsed and I can't remember what brand did it. It would have been perfume oil though. I would never spend the money on the original but I do have a perfume parlour copy!

In general it's a very nice winter heavy oriental fragrance but nothing special or special.. surely if you've been to Arab countries you've smelled it from other companies. One reason is that it's very expensive for what ombre nomade is Louis Vuitton is asking around $400

TLDR: Owning “Ombré Nomade” and the two clones, I wear “Amber Musk” (Al Haramain) very often! This is my review from Fragrantica: I have a few “clones” of Ombré Nomade ( Ombre De Louis Zarah Prive by Paris Corner is also very good) and None of them will emulate the nuances of the fragrance from opening to drydown. If you are looking for the same “DNA”, then “Amber Musk” is a phenomenal fragrance! Between the two clones “Amber Musk” has more regal vibe, while being quite deceiving in the opening with its fresh Raspberry fruitiness and becoming darker as it transitions. (Progression is much closer to Original Ombre Nomade, while constantly changing through life of fragrance) The Paris corner clone begins with a slight Raspberry fruity opening while transitioning more rapidly into Oud/Rose combo with smoky nuances. (More linear in nature, through life of fragrance). To be honest it is not redundant to own both clones, and you could layer them for a more accurate representation. As far as performance goes, they are both beast mode, and Amber Musk would even lean towards the Nuclear Category. **Update:** Ombre De Louis Zarah Prive by Paris Corner is closer to the overall smell of Ombré Nomade (Smoky, Strong Oud), while lacking the intensity, longevity and remaining quite linear in nature from the original. Amber Musk by Al Haramain certainly has the intensity, Strong Raspberry and Musk in the top notes, 3-4 hours before it reaches the Amber and Oud Mid notes, then transitions into the base notes for another 8-10 hours. Phenomenal performance; 4 hours strong projection, 5-6 hours strong sillage…12+ hours longevity on skin!, with progressive changes throughout the life of the fragrance, but slightly less smokiness and Oud dominance (Oud prominence becomes quite apparent after 4 hrs of application) from the original. Since, Amber Musk is more nuanced, regal, and quite the compliment getter, despite being an Oud fragrance. It is definitely more wearable if you go easy on the trigger. Layering Ombre De Louis and Amber Musk will bring you very close to Ombré Nomade. (Layer on separate parts of body for a more mysterious effect; Amber Musk behind ears or nape of neck Ombré De Louis wrist and side of neck)
