Think you might be gluten sensitive? Take the quiz:
www.glutenfreesociety.org/glu...
Carnitine is a nutrient that our body can make, but sometimes we need to eat more of it or take supplements. It is important for our heart, liver, and kidney. Our body uses certain nutrients like lysine, methionine, vitamin B, vitamin C, and iron to make carnitine.
If we don't have enough of these nutrients, we might not be able to make enough carnitine, which can put us at risk for a deficiency. When our carnitine levels are too low, we might experience symptoms like high triglycerides, muscle cramps and weakness, fatigue, impaired blood sugar, congestive heart failure, and neuropathy.

… a link between higher taurine levels and reduced cholesterol, lower blood pressure levels, and significantly lower rates of death from heart disease … “In sports performance products, taurine is added to aid in cellular hydration and electrolyte balance, which helps to support performance metrics during exercise and sports. It helps support nerve growth. It might also benefit people with heart failure by lowering blood pressure and calming the nervous system. Taurine in the glomerular ultrafiltrate appears to blunt the rate of Na+-dependent uptake of glucose by renal tubules and can potentially lead to glucosuria. It is beneficial to liver health.

Yup, big study out of Columbia University on taurine and longevity across the board. I have severe pancreatic insufficiency and it’s supposed to help with that too, very similar to gall bladder loss.

What about carnitine's negative effects on the thyroid? Some studies point out that carnitine is a potent thyroid inhibitor.

@@Mikeesocal69 yeah and read about fatty acid oxidation disorder. I think I have it! Cause of genes in my family, noone likes exercise, and everyone in my family has problems with the gallbladder too. Its insane. Try to have daily mct oil too in coffe or a daily smoothie. Im going to buy it now! And also supplement with at least 200 mg coQ10! Also gonna try more low fat, more carbs cause I do not think too little carbs is good for me! In gonna incorporate some rice, more quinoa + other. Also gonna read what kind of diet is good for this disorder. Also my twinflame hate exercise. And now I cannot tollerate high intensity exercise either. Im walking alot and gonna be even better at it. I can not do much running because Ive been lacking carnitine for years because of a vegan diet + genes also.
