I could imagine God saying that pastor Lawson is a man after his own heart. Im not trying to put Lawson on a pedestal but it is refreshing to hear and see a true man of God that does his best to teach and preach the living Bible. I have much respect for pastor Lawson and i thank God Almighty for providing us with a dedicated teacher. Thank you in Jesus name.

This is absolute Damnable Heresy. What a Devil on that pulpit. Study to show *Yourself Approved* unto God! Rightly divide the word of truth yourself. He's telling fables about the Jews micva, Ananais and Paul. Mark 16:16 was holy spirit baptism I assure you. The Jews repented and believed. In Acts salvation was solely by faith in Jesus's death burial and resurrection! Jesus spake of the Spirit in which they that *Believe on him* should receive after he was glofried and ascended to the father (John 7:39). *For John indeed baptized with water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost* not many days hence. The Jews believed and were baptized by the holy Ghost in Acts 2:38-41 by the Holy Spirit, and 3000 were converted. Unbelievers received the baptism of the holy spirit upon their belief, just as well as the apostles had the holy spirit. But new converts hadn't been given apostolic authority to do miracles etc, because they had not eye witnessed the resurrection of Christ, or had been sent out *directly* as the 11 Disciples were sent in Mark 16:15-20 as Jesus prophesied; for them to specifically be a witness in Jerusalem and upper parts of Judea to perform signs. God bless you abundantly pastor Lawson! you're a truly special Holy Spirit inspired messenger of the KJV infallible word of God! I'm grateful for the HOLY SPIRIT leading me to your blessed ministry, I recently got saved because I got on my face, and prayed and cried out for forgiveness and the Lord JESUS CHRIST, was merciful to me, a wicked sinner deserving of HELL! he gave me an amazing vision, and I saw a glimpse of heaven, bright rays of gold, shining through the clouds, eminating from the kingdom of heaven! I was wide awake, and eyes wide open, so I know I was not dreaming, and I'm definitely not delusional, I know what I saw was real, and now I know whom I believe! My life has inherently changed, on Sat Dec 5th 2015! may GOD bless all !Amen!

He left out drinking poison. That and picking up poisonous snakes have never been practiced as signs even in 95% or so of the pentecostal, revivalist or charaamatic movements. Those verses are not found in any of the Greek manuscripts of the first 3 centuries.

Donald M This is a very well known fact with expert theologians. I saw a pice Allen Parr (the beat) did about these verses-not that he’s a fantastic scholar-and I think maybe even Mike Winger did a piece. I’d look into it you’ll easily find accurate studies. Try Doctor James White-Chuck Missler-David Pawson-Chris Rosebrough. These are just a few names-maybe William Lane Craig-or the guy from “cross examined”. Hope you find some good information. As far as I know this is a fact that it’s one of the few places where there was additional words added onto the Holy Scripture. Sure wouldn’t wanna be the guy who added or took away a jot or tiddle. Hebrews 4:12-13 just to remind you what you have there. Praise Jesus-King of Kings Lord of Lords. God Bless.

From 2 of the Baptist Church's in my area - 1. Infused Registration - (infused definition: The doctrine states that through keeping the commands of Christ, regular confession and penance, and receiving the sacraments, God's grace/righteousness is "infused" in believers more and more over time, and their own "righteousness in the flesh" becomes subsumed into God's righteousness.' - unbelievable 2. Worship - Soaking - every Thursday. What the heck is going on???????? Infused and soaking. There are no churches in my area, none. God help us.

Pastor Lawson is a 100% right. Please find a video on Discerning your Bible .Once Jesus died on that cross it was Grace through faith Ephesians 2:8-9, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4, John 14:6 Romans 20:9-13. Once Jesus died on a cross it changed to Grace through faith not of works. It's a personal relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ and believing he died on that cross for our sins and Rose three days later God's salvation

Mark 16;15 -20 is addressing to us ,today .It was addressing to some people then ,to all of us now. You cannot see this part, you cannot see anything.

Jesus was baptized that it might be imputed to the believer who wasn't baptized or improperly baptized or baptized under the wrong motive, wrong church, wrong preacher etc. Baptism is important but if it is laced with imperfections it is in a sense irrelevant. Christs baptism however was perfect and is imputed to all those who believe. Therefore even if it is an act of righteousness that is necessary for salvation it is also an act of righteousness imputed to the believing sinner.

The question isn't "why is the longer ending of Mark in the newer manuscripts" the question is "why isn't it in the earliest manuscripts"... and why do the ante-nicean fathers never speak of thoes verses when you can reconstruct the entire New Testament based solely on what they have written

Luke 24:47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations beginning at Jerusalem Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost

Blood is for remission so in order to have our sins washed by the blood of the Lamb we must repent and go down in water in the name of Jesus Christ. This is what we will do when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's funny how people say that people should pray a prayer and ask Jesus into your heart , when that's no where in the Bible. But when you tell them they must be baptized ( that is in the Bible more than 5 times, with Jesus Him self saying it) people say it's not mandatory. And what do they use for that, the man on the cross beside Jesus. Well I tell you what when you get crucified next to Jesus you can skip baptism too. But other than that you must be baptized to be born again. You don't want to be, take it up with Jesus.God bless!

How can anyone say that anything has happened to us inside if we don't believe what Jesus simply commanded us to do!? He promised me that if I would believe AND be baptized He would save me.That is the promise on which I stand.

Just find it interesting- that it didn’t mention ‘healing’ and ‘deliverance’ which is why I was looking up teaching on that verse. I believe that gifts of healing and deliverance are still alive and active- I’ve seen deliverance first hand on several occasions. And know people personally who both do ‘healing- in Jesus’ and have been healed, or both.

Jesus said I have left you an example that you SHOULD follow in my footsteps He was baptized in Jordan river by John. John looked upon Him because He said baptize me and John said I have need to be baptized of thee and Jesus said suffer it to be so now for thus it behoves us to fulfill ALL Righteousness so being baptized IS essential for Salvation like it or not. Mathew 3:13-17

Dean Bowling maybe I'm missing something, I thought Jesus Christ was born under the law and came to do what we couldn't to fullfil the law, so that we could walk by faith in what He did and not trust in our own works. Faith in the Blood of Jesus is the root of a man's salvation, and water baptism is the fruit of it, and I've got both. But if you're faith is in the fruit first,be careful check for the root. I think we are just talking about two different Gospels here. No need for arguments. Have a great day. Ephesians 2:13 Romans 3:22-26 Acts 2:38-39

So, if Jesus FULFILLED ALL RIGHTEOUSNESS in WATER baptism, why do we need to be baptized in water to OBTAIN RIGHTEOUSNESS? Isn't Jesus "MADE UNTO US, RIGHTEOUSNESS..." (1 Corinthians 1:30)??

No dude...this is the direct opposite of what happened. Any serious New Testament scholar will tell you that the final verses of Mark were added (possibly by scribes) later on. The writing style is NOT the same, the imagery and content are in diametric opposition to the rest of the text and none of these verses appear in our earliest, most trusted manuscripts. There are few things I can say with near 100% certainty about the New Testament but this is one of them. The original authors of Mark did not write the final verses. You can take that to the bank.

Ephesians 2:8 -9. You have to discern your Bible . It change when Jesus Christ died on the cross to Grace through faith not of works. Jesus Paid It All all to him we owe. You have to believe with your whole heart 1st Corinthians 15;1-4, Romans 10:9-13 , John 14:6. Once Jesus died on that cross it change from the law to Grace through faith. Not of works

I'm sorry but in the first 5 minutes you've already proven you don't understand church history. What do you think is more controversial "in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God" or this passage. It's not in the oldest know manuscripts because it wasn't in the original ones either. Your first argument about the pastor who died handling snakes prove that this text isnt infallible meaning it didn't come from God or you must believe that pastor is going to Hell. The obsession of the KJV only crowd is disturbing because your making an idol out of one of the oldest (not even the oldest) English translation and holding it higher then even the orginal languages. Which do not always teach what the KJV says. For example Noah wasnt perfect, David wasnt perfect either or we can be perfect on this side of glory. If you wanted to prove that this is the word of God you should've cite church father's quoting this verse (as far as im aware their are none) or given evidence beyond the Latin Bible (which is where we get the KJV from) says this therefore its true. What language were the texts originally? Greek and Hebrew so why would we hold the Latin above what God actually said?

Mark 16:15-18 , Luke 24:44-48 , Matthew 28:+8-20 all fullfilled. On the day of Pentecost Acts 2:38 Then peter said unto them repent and. Be baptized. Every one of you in the name of Jezus Christ for the remission of sin and you shall recieve the gift of the holy ghost for the promise is unto you and your children and to all that are afar off even as many as the lord thy God shall call. Acts 2:38-38

No, you don't. "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel." (1st Corinthians 1:17) if baptism was apart of salvation, why does Paul SPECIFICALLY separate it from the gospel? "For by grace are ye saved through faith, that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9) I suggest you listen to the video.

Read acts 2:38 Romans 6, I totally disagree with you. Acts 2:38 they even asked and were told. So your telling me if the bible says you have to be baptized to be saved. Then the bible is wrong. I think you need to read the bible a little more. You are basically calling Jesus a liar.

+James Goetz Then how do you explain the verses I presented which undoubtedly state that salvation is apart from works, and according to 1st Corinthians 1:17, baptism is a work since its not a part of the gospel? I can explain Acts 2:38 to you, to add on to Jesus King of kings said, you have to rightly divide the Word of Truth. Acts 2:38 would contradict 1st Corinthians 1:17, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:5, Romans 10:13, Romans 4:5 etc. if the verse was meant for the CHURCH, but it was given to the ISRAEL l before the gospel of grace was truly ever revealed. That is why I suggested watching the video, some scripture is hard to understand on our own. Preacher Lawson explains it wonderfully. I don't want an argument so I'm not going to entertain this anymore, Ive said what was needed.
