The wave of homeless people under 40 now is largely comprised of them. The first girl I was with at 18/17 was an age-out just like Risa Bejarano, one of the girls featured in the doc. This was really well done and balanced reporting RRG . I was raised as a JW and I can tell you while their marriage is legal it would not be considered a sign that they are spiritually mature. They really counsel people to marry when you are past the bloom of youth or around the age of 25. Your decision making ability is not fully developed until then. So I don’t know them or wish ill on their marriage. But the high divorce rate is due to these rushed marriages. Also as others have mentioned their are plenty of single women, beautiful without baggage, Marques’ age in the JW faith. My parents are JWs - that’s not true at all. The Watchtower practices the masterful art of “double speak” putting things in print that don’t match up with their own reality. There are people who haven’t even finished high school getting married with their parents and the elders consent - youth marriage is heavily encouraged. I saw this numerous times growing up. If JW don’t marry by 25 then you would be single for rest of your life almost none of them are still single by 30. The conventions are breeding grounds for young people desperate to get married waking around all day. It’s such a dangerous cult and they get away with it by putting on a “nice” public pretense. Try saying you don’t want to join them or want to leave if you were raised in it and see how “nice” they will treat you!

@@jameelaworldwide Oh yeah! I was a Bow Wow fan too! I used to think he had the prettiest eyes! It's great to meet another fan of FF, past and present. Did you read any more, other than Bow Wow? And I'm assuming fanfiction has been around for ages but just didn't have a name. My BFF at the time and I wrote these stories and would exchange them to each other. Pages of pages of loose leaf paper that we would staple into a book and exchange them, read them and return them. This started in 1995 when we were in the 5th grade, on up to middle school. Then we moved on to Imajin, Nsync, BSB, and so on in middle and high school. And in college, moved to actors, movies, and then I started writing on RPG Forum sites when Invisionfree and PBBoards were a thing. I still write now but I've since moved on to Anime/Manga FF. 😁 Let me tell you how old I think FF is: when the internet first was released to homes with AOL, I came across a New Kids on the Block fansite and the lady had a Fan Stories section. She allowed people to submit them in but one of the stories was hers that she claimed she wrote in the 80s about NKotB. She kept it all this time and when she made the site, she typed it from her notebook, onto the site (with changes and editing she decided to do, after re-reading the story, to make it flow better) and when people started responding positively to it, she decided to add the story section for others to send their stories and she would post them on the site. So, I feel like FF is a lot older than we all think. It just didn't have a name yet. 🥰🥰
