I couldn't agree more I 100% agree with this philosophy I've stopped playing due to this issue and bc my controller has stick drift so it constantly does a charged move even when I don't want it to often costing me a game but pfg won't give me the option to demap my right stick so I csn also play at my skill lvl (I main the entire roster but often play and like low tiers such as Velma bc she takes more skill than everyone else and it feels good when I win bc of the effort I have to put in)

I think their idea with ranked was if you lose to someone under your rank you'd lose more which makes sense, but I think they'll definitely undo that and make it a flat rate you will prob lose less than what you gain that way its a nice consistent climb instead of what we have. I think what we have works but there aren't enough higher ranked players to make it work.

I can understand some of the complaints but I feel like a lot of you guys don't play these types of games much. I mean smash bros plays the same way just you got shields in the game and ledge grab. At lower tiers the play is all over the place but with smash and other platformers its the same thing. People will use the same moves to approach and use the same one or two combos to kill. I think this game just gets it worse because its on more platforms than just switch or just PC and has some janky hitboxes at times. This game is definitely more spammy but they have less moves so it kinda makes sense

Ive tried really hard to like this game but they legit need to end a match if a person is unresponsive. Every single match theres someone not moving and another player taking advantage of it. Not to mention ive noticed during FFA players queue camping and giving kills to their friends. I went from Skullgirls which has no skill based matchmaking and is to some extent a discord fighter to Multiversus 1.0. which had horrible quick match matchmaking and then even more horrible ranked matchmaking. I hit master with Shaggy and I don't give a shit anymore. I've been playing ONLY for rewards and if I wanted to have fun instead, I would look for players on Discord to play sets with, without using retarded characters. There's finally a somewhat fun f2p fighting game with ranked but it's so bad I would rather NOT play ranked and just use Discord.

Finally someone mentions how trash the console servers are especially on playstation multiversus and its defenders just don't even acknowledge it and throw blame on you. They say the game isn't a ghost town. But you literally cannot eveb play on console then its the same in 2s just like 1s they was supposed to nerf samurai jack made him more broken . RP system is broken the reason you're gaining 7 is the ranks you can see it better in 2s which the system is easier to exploit for higher ranked players you gain less for winning against higher ranks its pitiful the wb MAP SUCKS Hitboxes are bad this game is aggravating its all about Characters and maps not skill characters like joker are still broken stripe is kinda op with how broken gun is now now Here's the thing for us skilled players who don't just abuse meta like joker, Harley (2s maybe 1s now) and Shaggy, bugs, Arya, IG, And batman . Notice how when you beat someone its cause they're an average player and if you play someone who knows the character better you lose you don't ever truly win with skill they're just not good cant spam well enough. Misinputs still happen to consistenly they take away ledge camping which against IG in rage and some characters was needed and they gave it the worst workaround ever you become fatigued and cant jump after max ? Still can't dodge after clicking it game is way to dodge reliant which is why everyone runs shaggy surprisingly not joker Characters like morty are unplayable with 51 BUGS maybe more because they don't know how to balance their characters. Horrible dev team. Multiversus on console is the only game that turns my console off ps5 mind you and its the only game this game is trash.
