I'm in love with Chris and this podcast. He doesn't understand how much this helps people every week. Honestly, I don't know where I would be mentally without this.

chris - "two individual parties growing at way different stages of life" is the most amazing way to describe parent-child relationships
@ArdvARK19932 жыл бұрын
In regards to the noisy neighbor. I had an upstairs neighbor who would vacuum clean at like 2-4 AM. I complained to my mom and she put it like this “everywhere has quiet hours yes, but you have no idea the life that people live and what their day looks like. So maybe it’s your bedtime but it’s their time to get ready before work, or maybe they are working. Or maybe they are lucky and have a kid who only can fall asleep to a certain noise” Changing how I thought about this really helped me.

My mom and I butted heads a bit. We would still even as I grew into an adult. But at the same time I learned why she was the way she was and fully acknowledged she did her best. She passed in November and I miss her every day.

14:34- chrisssss My high school offered electives like home ec (which I took my sophomore year) and culinary arts (which I took my junior year!) The culinary arts class was at a different high school nearby, and was 2 periods long. My teacher was on iron chef! Thanks to that class, I now cook for a living(: I think a lot of high schools do offer home ec and college courses like my culinary arts class- the sad reality is some kids just choose to not take the opportunity and sign up for those classes because they fear their friends will make fun of them (at least that's what I've heard)

I loved the episode! I really enjoyed seeing everyone who's talking because it feels more natural seeing their gestures and facial reactions being connected to the current convo. it also feels more natural when you go on tangents or just talk about what comes up in your head randomly in that moment; the voicemails are extremely amusing as well! Overall, Chris, enjoy yourself each episode because your real fans will stay with you and they will enjoy your content no matter what, you'll always reach out to people who vibe with you naturally!

Hi Chris & Team! LOVE the cam on Justin, Sam, and Jake, 11/10. At the Very end of the podcast you noted that the episodes were getting "weird" and maybe you needed to bring back some of the structure. I 110 percent think do whAtever you want to do, but I personally really loved all of the little segments!! I'm not generally a podcast listener but I RAVE about unhinged to my coworkers BECAUSE of the shorter, more digestible segments making it so much easier to pay attention to (not that secrets and voicemails aren't as engaging, I just do better with structure.) Just two cents from my little ADHD brain! Much love

With any roommate situation if you are playing bills and rent just the same as everyone else you should always speak up about an issue. You live there as well. Boundaries have to be set. That’s how problems start because people don’t say anything and just let it get worse.
