Finally finished the video. The big thing I took away from it is that you need to stop worrying about making other people happy. I'm a people pleaser and it's really hard for me to get over it. After watching this video I'm ready for change. I gotta take better care of myself. I gotta put in the work for my health and my career. I'm the heaviest I've ever been. My asthma is getting worse the more I gain weight. I need to change. I needed this push. I'm gonna try to fast for the rest of the day because I had a huge breakfast. I'm gonna get shit done today. I'm gonna take it one day at a time. I'm gonna be a better person for myself.

What people do not understand is that this guy is a borderline genius. The reason I said borderline is because he has these short bursts of Eureka moments for which he works very hard but then somehow he loses that interest or drive to continue and then retreats. Although he hates failures consciously but subconsciously he loves to dwell in that feeling of failures because the high he gets from preparing to change his situation and bouncing back is like a drug for him. He shouldn't make this a habit, once he reaches where he has got to, he needs to stay there and maintain it but his mind works in a thousand different directions which leads to his downfall over and over again.

One of the things that you made me change my mind on is that sometimes when something bad happens to me even though it might not be my fault that I still got to take responsibility on whatever happened. If I implement a mindset where I believe I'm the only one right in that situation I put myself back in a position where I prevent myself from growing mentally, spiritually and maybe even physically because complaining about the past can only lead me to become a bigger pile of shit that attracts more shit and negativity which is not what I aspire to be. I aspire to be a calm, open minded, very opiniated and calculated person that creates a healthy environment around myself so that people can feel safe and secure about opening themselves with me.

I especially loved the basketball analogy and ring of fire analogy. I honor you for taking control over your life and taking accountability and letting go of the victim stories! I’ve watched you for years and it’s so nice to see you well again ❤️ I do also think it’s important we honor the inner child within us, honor our emotions and feelings and take all the time we need to be with them and love ourselves through them. It is important we hold a space of love for ourselves and accept our imperfections and have compassion towards our selves that may fall short sometimes. We all have that inner child that has had to overcompensate for love, and then that overcompensation we felt wasn’t enough, which is the root cause of all addictions in life. That “not enough” feeling we don’t want to sit with, which isn’t true anyway, but is our inner child’s dialogue that we adults neglect merely to keep busy. So what ways now can you also nourish & honor your inner child while also maintaining discipline? Including a forgiveness practice is also life changing, as is changing our self talk to a more loving dialogue such as “I am worthy, I am enough.” Much love to you, so sooo proud!! ❤️❤️

Big thumbs up Youssef. Very honest and motivational story. I've been watching you since your early days on YT and what I like about you is that you always bounce back. This time, you didn't only get back on your feet, but you built a solid ground (mentally) to keep standing still and walking towards your goals. I'm really happy for you. One bad habit I will quit the next period is listening to music. I spend hours listening to music while imagining different scenarios and I feel that this habit has become an addiction in the past years and it's consuming my time and my mind. I will also quit social media as I spend literally hours swiping and watching irrelevant videos and I feel that it has negatively affected my mental peace, among many other things. All the best to everyone!

I also suffer from suffer anxiety and I tend to think the worse of things then they actually are. Just listening to this today helped me understand that there are other people out there that are suffering the same thing and can overcome it. I learned so much from listening to Fousey, especially when you said you assume people hated you or thought bad of you when they really didn’t. Assumptions made you go crazy in that house and it taught you a lesson. I’m going to take your advice and put the grind in now to better myself by quitting thinking the worse and staying positive. I recently started my fitness journey to really just prove I can take control of my life, and I’m going backwards a bit rn but I know I am fine I’m nowhere near quitting it’s not even a rational thought in my head. But I can’t figure out my reason. Or maybe I have but I don’t want to face it. There are other things I know I need to change but I struggle to make the step. Change is scary and I might never be ready. But I am ready to never be the way I am currently again. Just want to vent on my journey. I don’t know anyone who can relate in my circle ( that’s a whole other issue that I need to face). Feels isolating sometimes but also the greatest liberation. Your analogy about us taking more care of our phones than our bodies really got to me I need to be more present. So much I have to do. The work is never done. This has inspired me. Thank you

One thing I took from your speech, we don’t need any drugs to help heal us. It’s best to have a clear mind we need to stay motivated to better ourselves everyday. You were are also absolutely correct when you say that when want to achieve something is comes with failure. Failure will happen more than once to get to your ultimate goal. The things you go through either shape you or define you. Either way you have to be ready for that change and be committed to that change. I want to change my weight and be better organized for me. Bro… a bit over two years ago I was 260+ and I was tired of feeling like I did. Woke up one day and fasted for 7 days straight starting THAT day. Cold turkey. Didn’t prep, nothing. I was in a different head space & I came out of those 7 days a different person. I gave up meat entirely. I started running. I eventually got in the best shape of my life. Today, I’ve now given up alcohol, too. I still fast. Still run. Still haven’t ate meat. That fast changed my life. That fast opened my “third eye” for myself - I was able to see myself from an outside perspective. This video will help many people, man. Thank you for being transparent and sharing your story. The one thing I got from this is the true definition of discipline, I was consistent for all of 2021 in my working out, 80% of which I didn't want to do, 2 months into this year I stopped and have been lying to myself saying I deserve and earned the rest I've been giving myself since February. I need to apply that discipline and consistency in ALL aspects of my life EVERYDAY and stop giving into the mindset of feeling sorry for myself. Thank you sir💯🙏🏾

One thing I took in from this is the fact that “I” control the narrative on my life. No one is going to feel sorry for me when I’m going through bullshit and it’s up to me to changes needed in my life to become successful.

Keep at it Bro! Keep going forward. Respect for coming out honest and for talking about the journey. I started my journey finally after 10 years of struggling with weight loss. I finally decided to put the excuses to an end. Lost 28 pounds my first month. The grind dont stop. Hard work pays. Its simple. Its all a mind game and how bad you want it. Of course with determination, effort, consistency and a solid diet and workout routine. Its obviously possible. Its you vs you at the end of the day. Go forward, move forward, and stay consistent. Bless 👏

Thanks for making this video and being so transparent. I feel like we are so alike in many ways. I've been following Fouseytube, DOF etc for years now and would tell others even though your fan base was usually youngins. I always felt I could relate to you heavy. I'm 32 as well, dealt/deal with anxiety/depression/addiction my whole life. Never felt good enough in my family etc. ADHD could never be consistent etc. Watching your videos give me hope. Whenever, I am consistently running I feel the happiest in life. I'm glad you discovered it as well. I'm trying to decide if I need to get off adderall and just run as i did before. Anyways don't mind the haters and those who are praying on your downfall. Your videos are giving hope to many people, me included. Btw love goggins too, STAY HARD!

Good to see you are in better spirits and that you are looking well. I 100% agree with the concept: what you are on the outside, is identical to how you feel on the inside.

the scary thing with me is, even if i go to rehab (which i did) i stay 2 days and go back home basically.. making things up in my head, then iam motivated for 1 day and then i fall even deeper into the abyss since i know i failed staying in the rehab. iam pretty bad and honest with myself, its a curse and a blessing at times.

Being there for others and not being present for "me". The main things that "will" change. Created a list of what I want immediately and long term. The people who I've enabled, I will enable myself now. Started yesterday and reading the habits I "am" changing. I deserve to be happy. Now, I will choose that happiness. All those that I enabled will be d i s a b l e d. Time to take "me" to the next level and into other levels.

Outside is reflective of what’s on the inside 🔥 🔥 🔥 That’s the main thing you need to takeaway. When you consume garbage, negativity, you’ll be a product of that. When you change your mind, your consumption and how you move your body, life opens up a ton. You changed my life with the 90 day journey. I’ve been on my journey for what feels like a decade now lol. At times I consume too much porn and food. I need to stop consuming what I know is bad for me. Best shape in my life but still a lot to go mentally!

What I really enjoyed, and took away most from the video, is that our goals and aspirations shouldn't be attached nor pursued on behalf of ANY other person. For people to think this or that about us, for them to say "wow, look at them!", rather, the good we do is for our own selves, and never will anyone do good for us, so it's upon us to get up and get the work done.

Great video. I watched the whole thing, and felt incredibly motivated at moments. Hearing you talk about the analogy of external things being treated better than our own bodies. So so true. Great video yousef. Love from the UK.

I’m not going to lie I resonated with just about everything you said here. You’re actions and how you describe the feeling ect, felt like you were talking about me personally. I know you’re not going to see this, probably, but just wanted to say this was inspiring and maybe it’s time I make a drastic change as well.

One thing I took away is to not underestimate my ability to grow in the present. To stop putting off the idea of bettering myself later (due to my fear of failure) but instead choosing to be better now. I hope to become more productive, achieve a better diet (for my well-being) and just be a more positive, inspiring human being. Thank you yousef

I have been able to feel much different spiritually with the words you have spoken for the past hour and I have been able to connect my emotions with your prior experience of events and how you have matured from them as if that Fousey never existed. I could have left the video within the first few minutes but I chose to stick around till the very end to get a grasp as to how much you overcame and to help me overcome my state. I love you Fousey and keep up the good work.
