i have two online classes and i love it so much. i just had to learn how to prioritize my time well with my online classes and actual classes on campus. i have two days of no class so i work on my online classes then to make it easier. the only thing is if its a course like math i find i dont go to my professor for questions i just look it up online.

North Peace but the thing is it won’t help you for future life. School teaches us what’s written down and how to regurgitate it on another sheet of paper. Tell me how many times your parents have had to do taxes. Many times correct? Now tell me how many times your parents have had to find the axis of symmetry and vertex using the quadratic formula. Never. They don’t teach taxes but they sure as hell teach the quadratic formula.

Nat Love & Hey so im actually taking two englishs online! I think you should take your favourite/ easiest subject online because sometimes it can be difficult because you cant really ask a teacher when your working on it from home :) Im taking college level english and one more. They are very easy and fun! I’m basically done them. I suggest you try it asap, hope this helps girl and no that didnt bother me :)

@@natlove754 hey, i know you werent referring to me but i do online school and i thought to give you an input. the course work is literally so much easier, but if you are not one to stay focused and get distracted easily, then it may not be so good for you. its also so much more flexible, i finished a whole course in half the time that traditional school does, and i am on to the next grade, so technically im a year ahead. i also do flvs flex, which is florida virtual school and it is so much easier. hope it helped.

I’ve been wanting to go to online school for the past two years. School became very difficult for me to focus and my grades have been slipping. My eighth grade year I had to go to summer school because I failed. It is only getting worse and every day I’m filled with fear to the point of shaking and cold flashes. I really want to make it somewhere in life but I know that I will just end up uselessly wasting my time in fear for the next three years of high school just to find out I can’t graduate and get my diploma. I was in online schooling for the last month of school and I did amazing but my parents won’t let me back in it ever since I started high school. I’ve been losing sleep because of stress and every time someone in my family leaves the house I practically break down out of fear. During summer vacation my symptoms were close to zero, I was happy. My parents are strongly against online schooling and I’ve tried everything from begging, crying, I had a mental breakdown in the car, to locking myself in a closet. My thoughts are getting darker and I think of either running away or killing myself because I feel so trapped. I looked up on the matter a lot more and I suspect I have been dealing with school refusal for a very long time now (2+ years) my attempts to stay home are getting more and more drastic idk what to do anymore.

sam ara yes most definitely the course work is easier, you just have to be more disciplined to get the work done. I find that waking up not super early but like around 8/9 o’clock gives me a good start with my day and even if I don’t do school early in the morning I can still be productive with my day. Just make sure you have to time to focus and take school seriously. Also try not to cheat yourself out of an education by doing the minimal for your school work. I usually spend 2-3 hrs a day doing school depending on how I feel... ^ I hope that helped some 😀

Ghostly Zero I do online school and no your parents don’t have to be there, the teachers will contact your parents though if you get behind on work, and when you start most teachers will introduce themselves to you and your parents through text or a phone call but I don’t know if all do that, that was just my experience
