Happy Thanksgiving. I'm 77 yo female and enjoy watching you helping the people of the N.C. devastation in the many ways you have. I've just watched an episode which shows the Comp dozing the trash into the hole that was dug and is filled with water. Question: I've heard that the flood waters were contaminated partially because of barrels of a business waste dump which came above ground. And partially from all other contaminants we humans have made creating "cream of the crop" items to sell to the public. Is the waste NOT going to leach from the pile of covered earth into your water systems there?? Granted, may not be soon but in future?? After watching these utube shows for 2 mos this question just hit me. I've gotten myself in a real funk because all I am able to help is pray, no money to send and too arthritic to help. I continue to pray hoping ALl people will be found, those that have lost everything will survive this. Thanks for your good deeds for your community.

Oh lord love grass!! Man I know that's the best thing for your situation where you're at, it grows fast, grows thick, and basically will survive in desert sand and that route system will hold the world together. in the middle 1970s over here in East Texas when we were having all of those erosion issues the government planted the all of that stuff with airplanes. We spent the last 15 years eradicating it that was a monumental task. Now all of those fields are in lush green coastal Bermuda grass.

We got the rain up here today and supposed to be heavy after while so yall will be getting it before long one way or the other. I ran the hammer at the rock polisher on a Daewoo, a long boom Deere and a 245. Liked that job and screend dirt in the winter. Everybody else went hunting or stayed in the shop with the heat on. And that ribboney stuff is like trying to dig stumps with a dragline. Makes your hair get thin. Buddy has a 200 Komatsu and it took a piece of foam on top of the radiator to stop the hot air from recirculating right back into the radiator through the hood. Yall have a wonderful weekend and God Bless ALL Yall!

you guys ever hydroseed? it would lower your man hours and diesel fuel on prepping just track in the ground and spray it I have personally see it turn a pile of gravel into a nice grass mound without anything other than the initial spray and some rain. you can use cardboard as your mulch media so it could be a business avenue to use up the cardboard that comes in you just have to run it through a shredder
@TheRealMrDiGG9 ай бұрын
It’s expensive to have folks come do that, maybe I could Buy one?!
@CGT802 ай бұрын
Ambition Strikes is a KZbin channel that built their own hydroseed unit to use on their idaho off grid property. I think they used a trash pump to run it. Building or buying your own would be a good idea, since you have an ongoing need around the property.

Removing pauses and spaces between words is unnatural and annoying. If someone has convinced you there's some need for that, just ignore them. They're wrong.
It not your channel so he can do as he wants too. If you don't like the way he does his channel then stop watching it . Go make your own channel and do it that way you like it or the way you think it should be. Then see how many people tell you how your not doing anything right or wrong
@Squat50009 ай бұрын
@@gaylanforbes7123he probably did that because someone was bitching about the pause. Most of us like the content raw. Less work for him to edit. Just good old fashioned uploads. People can skip the pauses if they really can't handle it 😂
@StubbyPhillips9 ай бұрын
@@gaylanforbes7123 I take Mr. Digg at his word when he said "Thanks for the feedback." If I DID have a channel, I'd want to know if I was doing something people found annoying. Doesn't mean I'd change it, but I'd sure want to know!
