His naturally upbeat attitude, his confidence in just being himself; that is precious…please don't crush that out of him. . Confirm his incredible spirit of fearlessness and creativity. Kids are super sensitive to "words" declarations/validations especially from Mom and Dad. Your brothers comments at the beginning are pretty revealing.. even after all the years he remembers, that he felt "bullied" by you when you guys were young.
