My dads horse always runs away from him but with me she just stays there and when she doesn’t want to be caught she’ll run even if you head the lead rope. You have to throw the lead rope out of the pasture and even that takes a few minutes to try and catch her

You need to bring treats and when she comes to you DO NOT HALTER HER, just give treats and love on her and make it a pleasurable experience. THEN LEAVE. Do this for about a week or more. SHE MIGHT EVEN FOLLOW YOU when you start to walk away! I have had that happen when working with horses like this. Its so cute!!! ITS LIKE Hey I like you! LOL Most people get horses to just ride and they do not care about a relationship, so in that case people need to expect the horse to not be friendly. I have worked with many horses!!!! That have had issues!!!! THE BOTTOM LINE IS, THERE IS NO BOND!!! Some horses dont care about bonding as they will just go along in life dealing with being fed and used. BUT CERTAIN BREEDS MUST HAVE A RELATIONSHIP AND WANT TO SPEND TIME WITH THE HUMAN WITHOUT WORKING! ONE OF THOSE BREEDS IS A STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN, And All Arabians that I have met!!! I had a Straight Egyptian Arabian. A very feeling and emotional horse!!!! Very SMART!!!! Also I had 1/2 Qtr and 1/2 Arabian. VERY ATTACHED TO HUMANS. WOULD COME FROM THE HERD WHEN HE WAS OUT IN PASTURE TO BE WITH A HUMAN!!!

Omg all the reality is me with me horse no joke once at my trainers house that is were i keep my horse in the summer but literally it is so hard to get him once it took me almost 4 hours to get him and my trainers horse once you yell her name she comes running and my cousins horse love to jump my horse hates it
