Glad to see someone did a realistic look at this. I play ATS as well as ETS. On ATS I run heavy (105,000lbs to 184,000lbs loads) 90% of the time and with realistic on i get about .5 to 1.5 MPG less than players with realistic fuel consumption off. 2.4/2.5mpg over 40,000 miles compared to the 3.1/3.4 i was getting with it off for the first 20,000 miles. In ETS i drive conservative and under 70,000lb loads and get an average of 5.7 so far with 14,000 miles in a MAN TGX with 430hp. Overall, I've come to use realistic on all profiles and couldn't be happier that it actually takes in your driving style. Good video. Keep it up 😀.
