The 2nd Adam (Jesus) did that for us who believe it. What is amazing to me is that Jesus died and paid the sin debt Adam put us in for THE WHOLE WORLD! So God is not imputing sins to anyone at all. It's believing in the finished work of God that reconciles back to God that saves us. We are not saved because Jesus paid the sin debt that Adam put the whole word in. We are saved if we believe Jesus did everything on the cross to reconcile us back to God. No one ever told me that before. I thought unpaid sin was what kept me from being saved. It sounds nuts now that I can plainly read God is NOT imputing sin to anyone. I've been reading the bible for 50 years and acted like what it said, was not true concerning this Adamic sin debt.
