This is a great video and thanks for sharing! I just setup my NAS so I can have better file management for media. Since I'm doing media production for myself, what would you suggest for a good folder naming structure?

Glad to hear! Check out this part of the video for the naming structure on how we keep our folders organized: kzbin.info/www/bejne/r6Krdnanibeod6c

@@envycreative I did. But you're doing client work. If you didn't have clients, would you use the same naming structure?

@@JoshuaBelanger Oh! Got it. I think the best way would be to create some sort of numbering to sort your projects. Whether that be in a database like Notion or Airtable, or whatever you might use to keep track of projects. You can even just start numbering with something like 0001. Then, I would just do something as simple as putting number as the fist part of the folder, then maybe the date you did the project or a significant date to the project, then a description or title of your project. So, your folders could look like this: 0001 - 11-28-2022 - Project Name Then, if you haven't already, maybe just keep a simple database of your projects based on the project number, just so you can easily look up what project goes with what number. Thanks and I hope this helps! Feel free to let us know if you have any questions!

That is a pretty cool workflow! The cloud back-up for 10 dollars a month actually seems very reasonable to keep your files safe off-site. Interesting video, thanks guys!
