Today we're gonna go over everything we know about Takaba's curse technique, and then look at all the details/hints from the manga, that can give us clues to his full reality manifesting power of "Comedian". My thoughts on Takaba's Cursed Technique: 1. Takaba is definitely operating under a different set of Jujutsu laws since he didn't really learn how 'proper' Jujutsu works during the Gojo vs Sukuna fight. Think of it as a similar situation to the soul and the body in the Shibuya arc. As Mahito once said, 'Cursed techniques dictate our worlds.' Takaba's Cursed Technique really dictates his own world. He probably has some strange, self-made JJK rules in his mind. 2. Takaba's CT is most effective when the joke is self-deprecating. 3. Takaba's life depends on keeping his self-made JJK rules hidden. As soon as Kenjaku finds a way to exploit his no-kill CT, it's gonna be Gojover for him 😢

I assume his technique also has an inverse effect: People he has agreed to fight will have anything they do seriously not work, and this explains how he was subconsciously activating his technique against meguna and kenny because they were serious in getting rid of him (directly or indirectly) and we know that both of them didn't have any effect on him. Infact I saw a podcast talking like "Takaba can bring Gojo back and If he doesnt thats a major oversight on Gege." and the worse part is that everyone seemed to agree with him. The community (espacially during the Gojo VS Sukuna fight) has grown to a lot of ppl who prolly speed read the series just to catch up with the hype. We also needa realize that Takaba never found it funny being smacked my Kenny’s attack. This could be the first Instance of Takaba’s reversal of the Comedian CT because Kenny’s attack didn’t land or work in the slightest, nothing was supposed to become a reality in that moment but was to cease to exist or function as it was supposed to.

What if Takaba also uses technique reversal instinctually? That would allow him to also make real anything he doesn't find funny. So maybe something that isn't funny to him can still be reality also and this could open up his ability to do other feats that would protect him instinctually. But his morals limit what he can do so that's why he still can't outright kill. On a side note. Watch Takaba bring Gojo back with his powers😂

I feel like a lot of people are getting dumb while thinking about Takaba’s ability. Does everyone suddenly forget that you cannot find something funny just because you said "wouldn’t it be funny if"… You have to genuinely find things funny or it just won’t work. There is nothing funny about thinking being the strongest or some BS like that. In reality, the fact that Takaba doesn’t know about his own cursed technique is even perfect because he doesn’t have any pressure and he’s genuinely in a good mood. Knowing the truth about his power could be the worst case scenario. By the way, Takaba could be the worst opponent for Kenjaku because Kenjaku needs to know exactly how the cursed technique of his strong opponents works. His main strength is not about raw power but about his mind. When it comes to this way of thinking towards data analysis, Takada's ability is absolutely beyond any JJK logic. However, I do think that Kenjaku will win by either revealing the meaning of Takaba's cursed technique (which will end up with Takaba not being able to use his power properly since it wouldn’t be genuine) or by ruining Takaba’s mood. Either way, the key of this fight is Takaba’s mindset

I have proof that Takaba’s technique is on a planetary level. Listen; In Chapter 221, the chapter where Hana and Angel unseal Gojo. Right after the unsealing when everyone is panicking because the prison realm and Gojo had dissapeared and there was the funny gag with Angel saying maybe Gojo was evil and stuff. We see Takaba say, “Thus was born an odd bit of trivia for the world.” Guess what; and I can understand people skipping this but in the next page, we see a panel looking at earth from outer space and it says, “Applying the Angel’s cursed technique to the prison realm makes gojo dissapear” I ACTUALLY think that in this moment takaba was using his technique to force everyone in the world to think about what just happened with gojo dissapearing from angels technique. his words were targeting everyone in the world and he said it was a “trivia.” It’s a gag piece but it’s hinting that Comedian is actually planetary in area.

i think Takabas CT gives him 4th wall perception. So from his perspective, JJK is the variety show, he's the comedian were the audience and he's preforming for us. And he knows we are watching. I could never put my finger around why he considers everything he does with or without other characters there a performance. Who is he trying to entertain, not himself clearly. I think as part of his binding vow with his CT he: 1) Doesnt know what his technique is cause if he did, he'd never be able to properly use it 2) Has some kind of cursed instilled schizophrenia that makes his see and interact with us the reader, but from the perspective of people in the show its like he's performing in his head on his own. A binding vow that allows him to feel like he's performing so he can use his CT 3) Due to how broken it is it only works off of his sense of humour, and humour isnt dangerous so he cant just decide to rewrite reality on a whim he actually has to be joking so the outcome isnt detrimental to the world And all of these are binding vows with his power. Its like he's Mahoraga but better. If he thought itd be funny to touch the untouchable gojo his CT would change the essence of his CE to bypass infinity. There's a logic and method to how his CT brings things to reality. Kenny smashed him with cursed but his CT made it so even though he got crashed through the ground the cursed spirits didnt even break his skin. But from Kennys perspective he saw and felt the hit connect, he saw the crater didnt everything then Takaba just walks out cursing him.

I think you’re misreading the going on without killing people thing. Takaba says, “It’s thanks to him that I’m able to live in without having to kill anyone.” In other words, he is thankful to Yuji for making it such that he won’t have to kill anyone. It absolutely doesn’t mean he wouldn’t have killed someone too live. Just that he’s happy he doesn’t have to. At least that’s my two cents.
