I really like a bitsy bug jig from the bank. It's easy to work and I can get it in a lot of places

A jackhammer is a must have for me in the prespawn. Fish it with jerking action like you were doing with a lipless and it has about the same effect. Black or white is all you need.

I know a lot of guys who swear by a jackhammer!

Back in the day this info would only be found at the baitshop or simply by fishing buddy to another. Now its on another level, but you have to be older to realize this. I really appreciate your fishing tips from up here in Red Bay, AL .....

It is crazy, the ice just came off in most areas of the lake and instantly bass were all over the shallows. They are behind where you are, but it won't be long for sure!

The bass are just as ready for spring as we are! The fishing is about to get really good!

More great information! I appreciate you constantly hitting it at all different angles. Conditions and water temps really play a major role for me, when trying to determine what I will usually start with. Thanks for sharing another good video!

Jigs and traps are about all I use for most fishing. I use whatever I think will work that day. Sometimes I get it right, a lot of times I don't. Gonna try it your way and see what happens.

I'm going to hair jigs this year for most of my artificial fishing. Who knows I may try to use 1 as a trailer for my crankbaits.

That sounds like a interesting idea!

Are you using trailers on the bladed jig?
@LowBrowFishing8 ай бұрын
Yes, I use a fluke-style trailer. It gives the bait way more hunting and darting action. A boot-style bait like a Keitech or a Rage Swimmer actually will impede the action because that tail causes a lot of drag.
