Everyone has a couple hundreds of cards sitting in their club. They want us to empty that club in a creative way. Trading seems the best option here. Squad building challenges like Fifa could be the solution.

I believe that the contract renewal system will be replaced by an accumulated fatigue system, similar to what we had in PES/myClub. For example, it will be hard for any player to play 3 matches in a row, as he starts each consecutive match with lower stamina. Stamina recovery items will replace contract renewals. This way, you'll probably need almost twice as many good players for each position, so you can rotate them if you run out of stamina recovery items. If this happens, duplicate cards or different cards of the same player will be quite valuable, as they will allow you to play such players all the time without needing to recover stamina, because you'll be able to just switch between their cards each match.

Interesting thought! I just hope that if that comes, each competition has their own fatigue, otherwise people will be getting into AI games and quit them immediately to recover stamina for divisions😀

I'm pretty sure they'll introduce the standard vs legacy format like in Magic the Gathering, the grandfather of all lootboxes. You still get to keep all your cards for Events and offline play. But the popular mode like divisions they'll require standard legal cards, which are only the recent cards.

@@PESPepe yes. Hearthstone basically mimics MtG the card game but then MtG produces its own digital game called MtG Arena which all follow similar concept. EAFC actually copies that too with the draft mode etc (which is in MtG too) but they did a bad job.

Draft mode is basically Hearthstone's arena mode then, right? I could actually imagine this to be quite funny in eFootball, especially if you'd only get very few good cards😂 For offline play, I think we actually had a sort of all-star game mode where 2 players could alternatively pick from all the players in the game, but it has been so long, I don't even remember if it was FIFA or PES that had it😀

Thanks😁I was pretty much f2p for a long time, I didn't really notice any difference in script or anything, the major difference of the p2w players in my opinion is that they do so much on their own. Thuram or Vieira literally stop many attacks on their own by just being in a good position and quick enough to get to the ball before the opponent.

konami recently announced that a card will not expire anymore. This will be introduced in ef25. Card expiries are illegal tbh. they get money to use epic players and then you cannot use them anymore or they dont give enough tokens to use them.

Hey Pepe! As you said, there are a lot of perspectives possible towards the contract stuff, depending on the person. In my case, I rarely spend money on the game, but I never done it before the option to renew contracts was announced, because spending money to get a player for a limited time is a no no for me. From this perspective, removing contracts can allow Konami to get more money, instead of the opposite. Um abraço!

I think we can safely assume the reveal of contracts not expiring is one side of the revealed deal. you also have to consider that it increases the value of the pack/player for the customer, so they might be more incentivized to spend because it won't expire.

Thank you very much! I don't have that one planned right now, but might do it in the future. I rarely use finesse dribbling conciously, when I do it, it more of just happens due to the timing of moving the sticks😀

Yep same for me. They know if they upset the big spenders on this game their business will collapse. That’s the last thing they wanna do. Did you know that 5% of the player base keeps this game running?

I don't really know any exact metrics, but a while ago I've read that especially for mobile games, it's likely a very small fraction of players are responsible for the majority of the income. Completely agree that upsetting the biggest spenders isn't really in any game developer's interest😀

Ola Pepe! Bem pensado é uma boa lógica. I think they will logically need to adjust power curve slowly, like in efootball 2025 you can train up to 102 or 104, then next season more 2. Which means new cards are designed to achieve those.limits balanced and your old cards are still usable but start falling behind the power curve.Could be. Great video!! So curious about Efootball 25

It's like DBz legends I quit cause cause the power scaling in that game was crazy like every month they had a game breaking unit you couldn't compete with.. if you took 3 month break you wouldn't be able to compete.. the Free to play units were so hard to grind for and sometimes they were just bad so it wouldn't be worth it but once in a while they would have good free to play units but in a month they would be useless

I actually see this in the lines of what's gonnna happen 😂. Konami always find a way to milk the playerbase, that's the 1 thing they are most consistent at. Next Season Surprise Surprise, your showtime cards will change to trending cards, potw to base cards, highlight cards remain highlight cards but with reduced player stats all round. Anything could happen.

Es wird sich nichts ändern dias "spacing" beim Tiefraumspiel is beschissen... habe mit 2.6 angefangen da hatte man noch freiräume inzwischen is das spiel in sich selbs eingeschlossen Schnelle konter aus fehlverhalten typisches META . ein annäherndes fussball erlebniss bringt KI auf fortgeschritten Dank der hotfixes im 12std takt is kein "lernbares" gameplay mögkich Leider ist es das einzige Spiel das "spaß" auf den platz bringt ... "no fair play" is leider zu unausgereift

Thanks for the comment! To be honest, I only expect GP, eFootball points or anything like that. I assume the big spenders are most likely the ones with most contracts, so if they gave coins, the big spenders wouldn't need to spend for a while, not sure if the developers would like that😀

I wonder, if they will somehow change rewards for releasing 5* Featured Players, since they removing 10 Days Contract Token from equation. Maybe more GP, or Skill Token (In form of a shard), Position Trainer Token... I have almost 100+ 5* Featured Cards that i wanted to sell before (doubles mostly) so i'm holding on till 4.0 or more information about that.

Probably, although in my opinion, odds are they'll just take away the contracts for releasing players. Unfortunately, unless they tell us in advance, there's no way to really know if you'll get better rewards by releasing them now (and get more of the compensation once 4.0.0 arrives) or keeping them and releasing them after 4.0.0😐

what do you think we can expect for player releases on efoot 25 launch periods? like the epics and all that. will they begin on basic epics or will they be +3 boosters? or maybe we see +4? you are right as well about players power growing too fast. It is a huge reason I quit fifa/eafc. where you pack maradona 5 months in then 2 month later some random J league team of the season is better they will also need to 2 or 3x my club size in the case of contracts not expiring

I think they might bring double booster cards at some point, as far as I know, the artwork for them has already been in the game for over half a year. Whether both of them will be active at all times or it'll be 1 active + 1 conditional, no idea.

The truth is that there os nothing free in this life. That's a fact. Although if they force us to start over from the beginning buying again from the start new players, it would br a veru serious reason for someone to stop playing the game, because we jave already payed real money to get some of them. It would be a disaster for the game. Dont forget its almost 3 years, and the bad comments about the game are too many
