Not good with optics but could they adjust the focus of the screen to match the non-focus of your eyes looking in the distance? So it was blurry unless you were looking in the distance

Great review Ken...I certainly value your opinion -good, bad or otherwise. Any chance you can get your hands on the Epson Moverio BT-300 viewers? The ability to see the drone’s view without losing LOS would be huge, if any one piece of gear can adequately pull it off.

Oh dear!!!! What a terrible review! Ever heard of a hat???? They’re often used to keep the sun out of your Eyes! If you mount the vufine properly you won’t need to be constantly adjusting it. Learn to look out of one eye....it takes a little practice but it’s really not that hard!!! Score 2/10

Would an old fashioned eye cup from a 35 mm slr between the screen and the lens of the glasses help. this would also block out a lot of stray light. The cup against the lens might hold it in place with friction. That and maybe a zap strap or two.

I don’t know if you saw my comment on your last video but Eachine has a pair of $100 fpv goggles with an av input. You could use an hdmi to av adapter and use them with your phantom. They’re called the Eachine ev100. Maybe gearbest will send you a pair. I’d want to see your thoughts for them as a beginner fpv product. Great vid btw.

I use BT-300 by Epson, you should demo those Ken, those are amazing let’s you fly in public and still aware of ur surroundings by augmented reality they come with shades to block out light only allowing 1% of light in. Hopefully Epson watching and sends you a pair, I guarantee you’ll never go to another.

The latest DJI Mavic drones don't have HDMI output. You could use HDMI adapter to see the smart phone screen, but unfortunately smartphones have only one USB port and that is allready occupied by cable coming from Mavic remote controller. That is the only reason this product sucks and I can't buy it. I disagree with your sarcastic opinions, most can be solved easily. Most disturbing is your bad attitude.

I am a EUC rider and trail ride and oftentimes the way ahead is not certain. Now with this device that i can wear inside my goggles i am able to directly see what my scout drone sees empowering me to lead! This is going to be a next level tool for adventurers.
