I left a hedge fund PM job because I wasn't satisfied with 10% of what I produced in the volatility-space. High six to low seven figures to start a fund on my own. $200-$300K in startup costs and earning 10% of what I'd been making. Never leave a career w/o a solid biz-plan. RE is dead. STIRs are going to trade 3.5% by the end of the day and 800FICO morts are going to be 6.5%. I knew when you announced your plan it was going to be a tough road... it's very difficult to give up a guaranteed salary.

Most definitely. Having a steady income and being salary I knew what I was getting and could keep expecting. Took a big leap of faith and it hasn’t been easy. But then again if it’s easy anyone can do it. Just gotta keep grinding and hustling. I set goals that I do anything to pursue. Then when those goals are reached I set even bigger ones. It definitely has been an adventure and journey and looking forward to what happens next
