Ice upon the branches...snow upon the ground...wind among the evergreens...so cold the distant sounds.. Flakes of snow fall heavy...as day time turns to night...forest life protected...in a cloak of silver white...💖

Ah some good old fashioned Polish fare there. Pierogi, kielbasa, lots of butter 😋 All that was missing were potatoes and some sauerkraut 😀 Love it.

Some hi end butane stoves have a heat strip that keeps the can warm while you cook. Keep the butane cans somewhere warm for when you need to use them in below zero temps.

Starting a fire in the snow is not cheating by using a fire log... It's smart!!
@Slevin_Kalevra Жыл бұрын
Honestly, its never cheating if you are using something to start a fire. You relly dont need to know how to rub to sticks together but it is encouraged.

We loved winter camping! In BC. Only months we didn’t camp were Jan and Feb. We had more gear of course, fully prepared for a 4 day camp. I loved searching for all the animal tracks. Freaked out a bit when we found cougar once!

Seems like as an adult I'm always setting up camp in the dark. Always wear a headlamp, rocking' the LED strip headlamp now. Back in the good ole days when I was a Young Scout we always set up in the light, then as I got older and the trips and backpacking distances got longer it's always in the dark when we get to camp to set up. You learn to be good at it and it's no big deal when you're always going to do it.

No video this morning, soooo, I found this one. Being that “alone” gives me anxiety lol. Love camping though.

Hey man, you should consider doing a video on that JDM Pajero of yours. It's not everyday you'll see a right hand drive vehicle in Canada, so I think people may find that interesting (how you bought it, the goods/bads, etc)
@DownieLive3 жыл бұрын
I've been thinking of that for a while. Thanks.

OK, camping during the winters in Canada one must ask first "what happened?" that is because no one in the right mind would go camping in polar temps. Well if you want to meet some romantic polar bear that could be the key. Once in Montreal at 3 AM I needed to pee really bad and I was by a park near McGill. It was a really bad idea to pee on tree at that time of the night and with temps hovering at negative 18C. The smoke alone gave me away. Your car has the steering wheel on the right side?????? That alone should be a video. I have skied since I was 3 years old but cross country is way too much work to be fun. I hope you will have some downhill skiing among your vlogs. Another cool video!!!
