Hi there! Yes because you have to declare all your income including foreign income when you file your taxes.

If your income is only $1200 per month you will get a refund of the income tax withheld because in 2022 the basic personal amount was $14,398 meaning only amounts above that are subject to tax. This amount is inflation adjusted every year. I haven't heard volggers mention that maybe they just don't know that. You do have to file an income tax return to get the refund.

Great question! Post secondary is usually a 2 year program. That would give us 3 years PGWP. Post graduate ones are usually 1 year programs. It'll give you only 1 year PGWP

Hi Jc! To be honest we're not really sure about this, but I think SP should not have any problems on getting his/her PGWP after studying regardless of what work he/she has. Not sure about the OWP though. If you're currently studying, better to connect with your international student advisor to get better advice on this.👍🏼

Thank you Mariel! :) Business Marketing focuses on marketing theory and case-based problem solving, which will include advertising and promotion and a lot more (this course is great for you if you plan to have a career in the marketing field). Whilst, business accounting according to Centennial's website concentrates on building proficiency in financial and managerial accounting and on fostering in-depth knowledge of accounting software (probably great if you want to have a career on finance sector of a business).
