For real-world performance you could have conducted a few tests in 1. App launching time and app performance, 2. Memory management tests like opening 20 odd apps people use on a daily basis and how fast and efficient the memory management. 3. Battery performance related to average screen on time based on daily activities, and battery optimization when phone is not used for a long period.

Am using MLUSB app for my hard disk file transfer for the past 5 years.. Right from one plus 7 , redmi k50i, pixel 7a all worked well with MLUSB.. but my new MI 14 with hyper os not able read the hard disk.. Says the format is not supported... But the same working good with redmi k50i miui 14 Not only this there are lot of small bugs in HYPER OS.... As of now I feel like MIUI is better than HYPER OS hope the team will improve the OS

Same after using miui for 5-6 years i switched to a motorola phone . Its clean and i knew that i am gonna miss miui i did this and now i was regretting until i understood that . They have only changed the name and some aesthetic apperances here and there . It is still a laggy software and after just some days I'll have to compromise with the bugs . So i am not going back to it maybe.

The thing which most people need to realise is that all these smooth animations, blur effects etc. are only available for the pro and pro plus models. For eg. I have used the Redmi Note 12 5G (Base model) and Redmi Note 10 Prime both which didn't have super smooth animations or any other extra features like the pro models. Also even in case of most Hyper OS features like the cool lockscreen, only some of it is available for the base variant while better ones are there for the pro ones. So I would recommend getting the pro version if you prefer these qualities of the OS.

@@chungathnirmal1 they have removed it long ago. Probably it's been a year. I liked that feature. I mean it can be brought back manually by doing some operations forcefully, but there's a risk of other features malfunctioning.

HyperOS still couldn't fix a bug for me in Poco F3 that's been present for 2+ years where the recents apps tray just freezes when you click and hold any app if you're using a non-stock launcher. truly HyperOS should've just been called MIUI 15

@@insomniac8016 at this point it really does seem like it. not being able to use gestures with non-stock launchers on an unrooted device is in itself enough of a nerf. why have to go out of their way to remove functionality from the recents tray as well. it's things like these that I'll finally be switching away from Xiaomi after brand dedication for like 7 years

recently i came to know swipe to home/back gestures doesnt work in third party lauchers in mi/redmi phones. past 8years i was constantly hoping between iphones and mi phones alternately. but this (gestures doesnt work in third party lauchers in mi/redmi phones) changes everything now. im gonna buy samsung phone midrange from now on as an alternative phone. mi has lost its customer friendly approach. i wont buy or recommend mi/redmi/poco to any my friends and family ever again. for me redmi/mi era is over. thats it

The difference here is the Kernel management and the Library differences MIUI is as the Name suggests a UI skin on top of AOSP Google distro Google distributes their version of Android to manufacturers and companies with Security updates and patches and kernel optimisations Then it's sent off to their respective Chipset manufacturers for Driver optimisation What Xiaomi has done here is effectively cut Google as the middleman, MIUI was an overlay on top of the entire AOSP library but HyperOS is a modified Android skin That's why they're calling it Hyper "OS" Looks aren't everything and HyperOS is very light compared to previous MIUI or even others like ONE UI That's because HyperOS does not have unnecessary legacy Android UI elements that Xiaomi couldn't previously get access to as Google had put restrictions on it AOSP also allows Xiaomi to support their phones longer as they do not need to pay Google revenue anymore for every update

I can make a coffee while starting up this OS. It's so slow even when al started up, it is not. All the icons need to load in the menu. It's like working with a PC with HDD and not much memory all over again. When you try to multitask, it forgets everything when you open the app again and can start from the beginning. It's frustrating and a total nightmare OS. And don't forget about ads... There everywhere. Don't buy that junk again.

It's just marketing. As simple as that. They needes to change the name because it has to be the same name as their system for their cars. Also other Chinese brands like Huawei use 'OS' and Xiaomi always follows what Huawei does. Makes no difference really what an OS/UI is called anyway for any brand as it's all marketing. Fuck this, everybody is talking about the devices that are more on the higher end spectrum of their devices, Redmi note was also also considered at least a budget segment but now the software is completely much more different on them than that of a higher end devices, all the new things like improved icon animation, they were present on my goddamn old redmi 6A rocking miui 12 I think, that was the peak moment for also the middle and lower end devices, now they are treating the middle and low end customers like a third world citizen and not give even an option to turn on the settings for those so called " features that everybody loved about miui ",

HyperOS is just as bad as Xiaomi as always. All my Xiaomi including flagship ones keeps restarting and failed. Now hyperos closes by microsoft intune apps and can't detect bluetooth at fancy and instantly lock back when you keyin password. List goes on. Won't buy anything Xiaomi anymore period

1:13 Honestly For UI appearance and OS weight .it does feel new!..the new Fluent UI ..with cards looks amazing.. *But for features in the settings are way lesser and non convenient from other brands..I saw their OS and whole settings!!* Believe me Hyper OS is just an Hype nothing new.. Recently I checked Hyper OS 2.0 ..They Added only Generative AI stuff..based on Images,wallpapers,Information generation and so on.. (I Still don't get why people are so Hyped upon AI ..its nothing useful..It's only generating information frkm what he was taught off..from the data training..! Clowns peoples🤡🤡) Since *2-3 years they didn't add any features at all ..except working on UI Customization features..* which even makes me.s*ck! 2) Seriously *No one from India ia talking about the regional partiality Xioami is playing on .. Except from China variant of their OS* .You can't see *any new or Daily driver features in other regional Variants* (OS variant are divided into IN,RU,CN,Philippines,Indonesia,Taiwan etc) >>Seriously not much people recognize this fact..at all overall years!..The Biggest *differences and partiality between OS variants!!*
