Why is Boruto this Strong? That has been the main point of contention ever since Boruto returned from his 3-year Timeskip. Attaining feats such as dismantling unlimited Code, Contesting multiple Ten tails enemies on his own, and absolutely destroying Mitsuki while he was in Sage Mode. These feats are very interesting given the fact that Boruto at no point activated his Karma, which means he achieved all of this without the assistance of Momoshiki’s power. Well, that’s what most fans believe, and that’s where the issue lies. You see, the base Boruto of Today isn’t the base Boruto of the past. In fact, Boruto hasn’t been the same since he was revived using data stored within Momoshiki’s Karma.

King Kai revealed that Goku was in fact using the kaio-ken the entire time, but it didn’t actually visually manifest until he used kaio-Ken X20. Boruto is as powerful as he is because of the otsusuki DNA his body has been replaced with, he’s technically no longer human. This simply means his ceiling for Chakra potency and What can be achieved with chakra, is infinitely higher and greater than anyone else’s as, the Otsusuki are the original wielders of chakra and the only individuals born with a natural affinity for its possession and use, prior to Hagoromo sharing chakra with humans through his philosophy of Ninshu, humans had no aptitude or chakra abilities whatsoever. Boruto can not be defeated by any Shinobi due to his ceiling as a Shinobi and what he can accomplish as a Shinobi being eons ahead of anyone at this point, that’s why mitsuski couldn’t give him the slightest bit of problems, pay close attention to when boruto attacked the bug Shinju, despite not dealing any crazy damage, his Lightning style jutsu still managed to damage the Shinju, whereas I doubt a lighting attack from another Shinobi would’ve had that same effect, Boruto’s Ninjutsu and whatever else he chooses to do with chakra is on an insane level and in a league of its own due to the Potency of chakra granted by Otsusuki DNA that makes up 100% of his being. Sasuke understood this and this is why he told boruto that if he mastered his skillset and teachings, that no one would be able to stand in his way, the knowledge and Abilities are Sasuke’s own, but he knows his student would run laps around him because of the ceiling for power he has as an otsusuki, the single greatest thing Sasuke did was Arm Boruto with the Skill and technique to match his insane power levels and potential, this is why Boruto can’t seem to lose to anyone we know from the cast, he has the mind, skill and slickness as well as the raw power there to be used as he sees fit, when he needs it.

I never thought of that, he got momo data so yea he should have automatically became stronger since he was rewritten with the otsutsuki dna. So does this mean he doesn't need to use the karma to use the power ? Can he tap in to it without the karma ? Or is he already tapped in while in base ? Maybe the karma seal will give him access to the extra powers of momo 🤔 so much info to be analyzed and figured out. That's the best part of the story, it gives us time and chances to think and theorize instead of just putting the answers right in our face or plain out explaining it.

my theory on why boruto got so strong in his base form is rather simple. its his body, his training, and his genius talent comparable to minato. As we all know for a body to contain so much chakra it has to be trained for it or it will be destroyed by the high amounts of chakra and if boruto's body was altered to the level where it could contain and use all momoshiki's powers without a problem then that means base boruto is container capable of containing all that power and could use it perfectly, so what if boruto trained to increase his own power and fill himself to level he could match his body's potential/momoshiki's potentials that would mean his base power alone would much momoshiki's right, but as we see he is eve more powerful than that, as we know one can train his body to be able to handle more chakra which increases his chakra pool so what if after boruto reached momshiki level he continued to train and increased his chakra pool even more plus these otsutsukis never train but if they trained where could their sealing be and how fast the progression would be compared to normal people, it would be ridiculous fast, this explains why boruto seems to have surpassed momoshiki, jigen and code while still not using his karama. so his genius helped in making his training faster to reach those level which where already there, and as an otsutsuki to push his body even past the normal limit was even easier to do compared to normal people. damn this looks long to write😅

Well Sasuke litrally stated that if Boruto masters what Sasuke taught him then No one would be a match for him. This Same Sasuke had already faught Isshiki and Limiless Code. So for him say this is a pretty big deal as Sasuke's intuition has never once been wrong even under the influence of the Omnipotence. There's also the perk of being a Otsutsuki is also pretty big deal for Boruto since this gives many advantage by just purely being one without even tapping in the karma. For intense Otsutsuki physiology makes them natural masters of Chakra control and have no limit on how much Chakra they possess like how a human has limit on how much Chakra they can hold hence by the shinobi way of increasing ones chakra is definitely something that can be done. Like suppose if Sasuke was a Otsutsuki then all of his weakness would be eliminated and he would be force greater then even Isshiki. Oh Yeah don't we already have something similar? In the recent chapter when boruto was done with negging mitsuki........he was talking with shikamaru about omnipotence....he said it wouldnt matter if he provided the details of the technique as he would end up forgetting everything......he also said it isnt the first time he is saying that to him implying that boruto has done it before or has time-travelled to make shikamaru understand this but everytime it was the same outcome.....or ig he has some advanced time manipulation ability which lets him relive a moment multiple times in a single second or see multiple realities/outcomes in a single second.......he knows everything......and with the way the narrative is going its plausible that he has been travelling the multiverse going to different timelines/realities to undo the mistake but ending up in the same outcome one way or the other........this is why he asks kawaki in their final battle if it was the only possible outcome.......so in that case we will see a great development in boruto that he has to face the consequences.....he cant just run away from it.....he just cant change the timelines.....he has to face the reality....the brotherly feud can only be ended by the death of one .............it is giving me dc shadow multiverse kind of vibes where everything which was supposed to go wrong .......actually went wrong....this just doesnt feel like the same timeline from where our fav mc naruto actually belongs...ig this is some other dark timeline which is destined to crumble and a dark looming menacing presence is looking over it .......the vibes are just like that.....its w8ing for the timeline to crumble......for boruto to die trying.......this presence's feeling(especially from the starting of tbv) is ig bigger than the ohtautsuki gods.....something big and evil is at play here If this is all jougans doing then....i am sorry the jougan is straight up busted .....that might be why we saw that cloaked figure in the shippuden chapters/episodes(yeah that figure was there in the anime shown just after sasuke attempts a quick chidori on kaguya)gravity dimention......boruto went back in time to warn naruto about the imminent threat but might be stopped by something.....maybe a sentient claw grime with momoshiki laughing at him from the shadows for the desperate efforts he is showing to change the timeline the prophecy said that boruto is gonna lose everything....this is actually boruto losing everything fighting a futile battle whose consequences he knows but still he is being persistent about it.....this might also be why the anime and manga timelines are kinda different not completely but some aspects are...the reason is..... manga boruto fucked up the multiverse by trying to change timelines and its a common fiction trope that you cant just change timelines there will always be consequences boruto vs kawaki is nothing but boruto coming to terms with the consequences of his doing thats why he steadily replies to everyone that omnipotence is irrevokable it just cannot be undone and he is completely confident of that cuz he might have tried to stop it countless times but couldnt....it was inevitable...ig they are taking the prince of persia route about time travel or the multiverse as a whole.......this deserves its own separate video

i was literally thinking the same thing. i believe i commented something similar to this video on naruto explained's last chapter review. boruto isnt technically human anymore despite apperances. his base and ceiling can't be measured by shinobi standards anymore. kinda how in bleach no one could figure out why aizen was so strong compared to everyone else and his explanation was essentially he broke through the limitations of a soul reaper and couldnt be beaten to ichigo reached those same heights.

I think that Momoshiki's and Boruto's self-awareness are combined, there are no longer two separate people in Boruto's body, the only reason Boruto is still there is because he is the main owner of the body and because Boruto was stronger mentally, but each of these two people has more of the body. If he controls, more of his self-awareness will be combined, and Momoshiki had the least control over Boruto's body, so most of Boruto's new is Boruto himself, maybe ten percent of Momoshiki.From the very beginning, we saw Momishiki screaming that he could control Boruto's body because he knew that the one who controls the body will survive more than his mind.

I don't think boruto dies, i got a feeling kawaki goes "that far" because omnipotence gets reversed or he gets exposed some how. So now in his eyes he has no choice but to go all out in order to protect Naruto from the otsutsuki race. But that's just a theory. Can't wait to see how it plays out. But what if that scene isn't even the end ? What if it's like a mid credit scene or something like that ? I think there is way more to the story after that scene. It's the start or real war and osutsuki invasion, I think Boruto tapping into jogan power that prologue scene will alert osutsuki gods that the jogan is somewhere in the universe, so they will invade earth and that's the start of Boruto having to be the god slayer. That's foreshadowed by the scene of urashiki that he told toneri that they're watching. Means that prior to birth of Boruto, they already sense the jogan within him, that's why they kept an eye on earth ,or at least they sent momo to extract the jogan and momo being defeated by Boruto means he can implant karma on Boruto to gain Boruto's premature human powers (jogan/s DNA). I also see Mitsuki going rogue, I think boruto left that tiny snake on him, Mitsuki is in trouble with Kawaki who’s not happy about being attacked, and eida would’ve seen mitsuki withdraw his attack while having the chance to kill boruto, which in turn makes him a criminal, who Shikamaru likely won’t be able to defend, Mitsuki also left the village in next generations to discover who he was, coincidentally( I think not) Boruto encouraged him to aim towards shining on his own, and that he’d be there for him should he need help, before walking away, I see this as an invite, rather than a departure, And with a helping hand and guide as powerful as boruto, working with mitsuki to be his true self and realise his worth, is going to give mitsuki enough power so that when he does return to konoha, he shocks a lot of people and will now be in control of his own life , which will be something to throw in kawakis face considering how he’s been treated over the years, the man clearly needs encouragement and self worth, and He can now have that.

I like the theory but a contradiction arises that kawaki should be the same with 80% karma disolving in his body so that sounds a bit confusing 80 or 100 it's still almost complete. I think truth behind boruto's power is a new form of sage transformation which is how he gained uzuhiko. Since koji is a sage user as well. In chapter 3 and 7 we saw him being concerned about the planet and the environment so I think only a sage user would think that way. Like why did kishimoto add such an unnecessory detail in a monthly manga unless it means something.

Very interesting. So mabye this base karma form has been a sort of training boost for boruto and thats how he excelled so much. He could recover quicker to train harder phsyically. I also have an idea that mabye karma multiplies the result of boruto traning like e.g 1 push up = 100 push ups (ik, terrible example but you get the idea lol). It seems in short, the karma was a perfect pre workout.

I don't believe that the Karma seal is active. I do think that Borutos base is way higher since he was dodging Kawakis attacks with ease. Also the stronger Boruto gets then the stronger momo gets. Momo more than likely started training himself which he didn't do before ( idk if he can or not ). Borutos genetics plus momo and years of running for his life while training make this an easy thing to me

So basically now boruto has 2 karmas, 1 that is the 80% of momoshikis power, and the other one is 20% of boruto own otsutsuki power, but he can activate it or deactivate it at will I believe, maybe that’s how boruto can get to tap the power of the jogan and control it without needing momoshiki, and when he goes all out he activates both his own karma and mkmisbikis karma to get the full otsutsuki power within him or the data of momoshiki basically because the power he already possess it in base he just needs the data that allows him to use it better I guess, that’s why kawaki can use the senrigan without karma or boruto fly without karma, because that power is already inside them the strength is already inside them and they can use it without activating karma, but the experience only comes when they activate it, I guess that experience allows them to tap completely into their power or control it better or maybe they just stay in there human form and then when they activate the karma they are in their otsutsuki form, I don’t even know how it really works because they are all time otsutsuki but why does it makes them more powerful to activate karma? What if boruto figured out a way to get all his karma power without activating it?
