@lm7338 Жыл бұрын
@@wasifkareem6441 My best guess: Being orthodox is being stringent, so they do their best not to trespass gods law. One being do not take his name in vain Thats why they also say Hashem lit. "the name" instead of the "four letters". Or using q instead of h, saying Eloqim when not praying. The equivalent would be to say Allaq instead of Allah.

I have many Jewish friends here in The Netherlands and even though I am agnostic, I have nothing but respect for Judaism and its traditions. As an Iranian, it is worth noting that Iran has a very rich Jewish culture as well. You are both so loving, sincere, respectful and with great kindness and joy between you!! All of the most important ingredients to make a successful marriage and life together. I so very much believe in your principles and wish young people and the not so young people would take heed and learn before jumping into something with the "let us see where this is going" attitude and the thinking that you learn as you go along. If people are of the same mind from the beginning and the soul plate is the same - it helps so very much.

I have to say that the Orthodox way of dating is so much healthier, emotionally and spiritually, than secular dating. I’m a BT and already married, but I spent years feeling hurt and rejected by men I dated who had no true investment and commitment to me and to our relationship. Were I to have been able to have children, I would not have wanted to subject them to the ordeal of secular dating. (BTW, you two are adorable!!!)

I love your story. I have been married for 30 yrs. G_d brought us together in an amazing way. We met in August, were engaged in November and married in June. We didn't even start courting until after we were engaged. We kept it pure. I was his 1st sweetheart and he was mine. This was not our idea. It just seemed to happen this way. We're Christians and we decided to trust G_d's leading and guiding. It's been a wild ride, but we wouldn't trade any of it for anything. May G_d bless you deeply as your love for each other and your family grows.

Coming from an "outsider's" perspective I think the dating guidelines of the Orthodox community that you explained here are really excellent. I agree that commitment should precede the giving of one's heart & affection & all that it entails. I think it would prevent a lot of heartache & makes for a healthier dating experience & a healthier marriage. As someone already mentioned, there are so many hard things going on in the world that it is always refreshing & uplifting to see a happy, sincerely joyful couple. And your baby is adorable. Thank you guys. I find your channel very important and informative and of course with a sense of humour. Why important? Because "outsiders" that are nor familiar with Jewish traditions and way of life can learn to understand Judaism and Jews and to build down ressentiments. Movies like Unorthodox are showing a not so friendly picture of orthodoxie and Judaim so in contrast a channel like you has opens the mind for many viewers. I am Jewish but I am not frum. I love our traditions, our culture and our religious belief but i am not frum :-) But I honor and respect my brothers and sisters that live a more Jiddish way of life. Jews are coming in many colors and shapes. However, I enjoy to watch your story and I am sure it can really help to build bridges with other Jews and non-Jews who don´t know the Chassidic enviroment. And you are a beautiful and lovely couple that makes my Jewish heart proud to see. Mazel tov and good succesful life with a lot of love, harmony and understanding. Go guys. 🙂

I thought the purpose of dating and why it is so short is because it is meant to be an intellectual connection? As the dating gets longer and longer, the more the emotions become a part of the "connection," which leads to more issues later when those emotions disappear.
