Imagine this: the Void gathered enough Information and managed to bring up the corrupted flying fortress. And our only hope is Malphite and other champs who want to stop the Void (Kassadin, Kai'Sa, Ezreal?, Zilean, Jax and even more), all working together to kill/destroy? it. When Senna came, we got teased that the Ruined King will go down, and now we have the Ruined King game in development. What if we are teased with a potential new game, where we fight the Void and its followers? With the potential giant flying corrupted fortress as the boss? There is something in this theory.

Imagine Riot setting up its other games to basically conclude all of the simultaneous stories that are going on in runeterra currently. Ruined King where you bring an end to the the suffering of the Blessed isles. Brothers of Winter that concludes with all the leaders of freljord unifying for the next game Uprising of Ice where the watchers are brought down. Noxus Rise follows, in which Mordekaiser is stopped forever. Sands of Eternity, we end both Darkin and rogue ascended Wings of Unity, in which Demacia finally becomes an equal place for mages. And in the end Call of Nothingness, your idea, which would be all about kicking the void out of the rest of runeterra, ending it with fighting a hyper-corrupted monolith to close the last and greatest rift in Icathia.

In LoL the only way to introduce lore or finalize conflicts is through events (which still need to adhere to the game mechanics) or lore dumps on Universe... But here comes the big question. Why not do it through a series of games? I am really excited for the Ruined King game and really hopeful that with it's release we also get the King as a champ in LoL.

I think the tomb of Ne'zuk is ceremonial, as he took the fight to the void with Shurima's greatest super weapon, and supposedly lost his life. Why would Shuriman's honor a coward that fled from his greatest failure, and one of Shurima's greatest failures? I think we will see Ne'zuk in future stories, likely alive.

Since Ezreal has one of the gloves of Nezuk. And Nezuk came the closest to ending the void. Then all of this could be linked to the Warriors cinematic. Perhaps Kai'sa didn't just pitch up because of the void spawn but was actively searching for Ezreal....or at least his glove. How awesome would it be if Ezreal and Kai'sa then went on a quest to find the other glove. And yeah I know in the cinematic Kai'sa essentially tells Ezreal to leave but still....a man can dream.

The Shuriman Empire build a tomb in Ne'Zuks honor, but you don't really need a corps to build a tomb now do you? A lot of emperors in our real history started the construction of their own tombs long before they were to die. Since we do not know about any dead body in that tomb and one of the gloves being lost, there is a chance, even if very small, that Ne'Zuk is around and has the second glove. It would honestly be amazing to have Ne'Zuk in the game as an Ascended not a Darken. In his lore he would probably now ally with Jax to stop the Void, to redeem his greatest failure and he would dig Malphite back up, maybe even empowering the big guy. Long comment short I want Ne'Zuk in League

Actually, now that you mentioned it, Riot DID say they were making a champ that "refused to stay dead" or something along those lines, so what if the champion is actually Ne'zuk? People were thinking it'd be Yone but this would be even cooler. Also, there's a rumor that we are getting a Shurmian event at the end of April, with Taliyah, Azir, Ezreal, and Xerath getting skins. Perhaps that is because he will be released then and that's also why Ezreal is getting a prestige edition: a version where he finds the other glove and it makes him look "Ascended" as well like other Ascended?

This makes you wonder though, why did the Shurimans deny the Icathians a chance to get Ascended of their own? Why were they so obstinate to antagonize Icathia throughout the centuries, for no apparent reason? It's not really elaborated in the lore yet, but I reckon I can theorize a bit. I think that the Icathians were being persecuted because they were tampering with time magic (i.e. Zilean), and the Shurimans saw that as a big no-no for one reason or another. Furthermore, how'd Icathians like Zilean manage to discover time magic in the first place? We only know of one other Champion that uses time magic, and it's Ekko, and the only reason he can use it is because of a Brackern crystal that he has wired up. Maybe there's a connection there? Perhaps the Icathians, much like the Piltovans of today, went out of their way to hunt the Brackern and harvest their crystals for their own purposes? If so, how do the Brackern have connection to time magic? Do they use it? Does getting encased in Skarner's crystal not just stop your movements, but stop you in time as well? A lot of storytelling potential here.
