@@javierlandaverde4108 the issue really isn't the low wage, it's the low wage as compared to the squad. Your best players should be the highest earners in your team. If they're not, they will more often than not leave eventually. This just shows that Napoli didn't really try to keep him if they didn't even try to double his salary like Adrian said in the video, which isn't a massive expense but would at least show some respect. And your point actually even further supports mine. He isnt an up-and-coming wonderkid. He's getting older. It's important to finally get this actually decently sized salary as soon as possible, or you'll miss the chance. Maybe he'd get injured, maybe top clubs would stop being interested because his form would drop off... I'm not saying he did everything perfectly either, but to me, this is very clearly on the club, especially given the owner's history of falling out with players very often

Exactly. I'm surprised many people side with the club. Yes, sure, leaving in January is awkward, but this isn't a case of Kvara being just slightly underpaid. He's paid as if he was an average squad player. I'd get the sentiment if he was just paid on a similar salary as a starter, but not maybe quite as high as he deserves, then you can call him a mercenary for going in January, but really, with this kind of disrespect from the owner, he was absolutely within his right to leave. It's like keeping one of your best workers in a company on close to minimum wage just because you can while you routinely offer much higher salaries to new hires.

Having your best player on 40k pw in the modern game for so long is beyond insulting. Keep in mind, Kvaratskhelia has played his entire career at clubs that don't pay much, so it's not as if he's minted and doesn't need the money. Normally, I don't view players leaving for money reasons positively because when you make 100+k pw for your entire career you don't really *need* more. what i think happened: - conte asked kvara to stay while he'll get new players in the club. and if he still decides to leave they won't stop him. -kvara stayed for half a season, then he bought neres as a clear replacement for kvara, Gave him 5 mil euros as a paycheck bought him for 50 mil btw.. -kvara still had 1 mil euros (lower than substitute goalkeeper's ) -winter window opened and Kvara came to Conte to ask for leaving because he didn't see any Respect towards him by the Management team. this was going on for 3 years.. he made 3 milion euros in napoli.. while his teammates made tens of milions.. while Kvara has been the best player troughout this 3 years.. this is simply unjust. and kvara made a Good choice by leaving. it was simply Poor Management by the Napoli headquarters.. This is why Man Utd did give him a new contract soon, even if they didn't need to, because they need him, and he's one of the best players, so they want to keep them happy. This one narrative appears somewhere and then everyone accepts it as reality, which tells a lot about average intellect level in humans. Kvaratskhelia was arguably better in the second season, look at numbers, he did better numbers in a team that didn't function at all. Even besides numbers, I watched every single game, he was the only light in that team, he never stopped, and never gave up, I am really upset that it is not just overlooked, but people misremember everything. This season, I feel he looks different, again, I watch every single game, the biggest change I saw is when McTominay arrived, I remember how Zielinski and Kvara played together, it was very classy and flashy, they enhanced each other, while McTominay is completely different player, I saw him pretty much smash into Kvara a few times, instead of enhancing he took over some space of Kvara, limiting his freedom and creativity, which is also the opposite of what Conte said when he arrived, that he wanted to give Kvara more freedom. In my opinion, Kvara was ready to wait till summer, but he increasingly didn't like Conte's approach, and then his time decreased a little, Neres was also given more time. I am sure ADL didn't stop his stupid ways either, and it all culminated this January. Ultimately, the biggest mistake was not upgrading his contract instantly after the Scudetto season, ADL could give him 4M instead of his current 1.8M. It would still be lower than most stars receive, but it would show appreciation that Kvara didn't get and after the last season's general disaster, there wouldn't be talks of another upgrade at least for this season.

THIS IS THE TRUTH BUT NOT ENTIRELY: Kvara DID get a contract renewal offer at the start of the season of around 5 mln,him and his agents did not accept it because they were already focused on leaving and probably Conte's way to try and convince him to stay made him at least stay for this first half of the season. This also happened to Osimhen last season, Napoli did get him his renewal of 10mln but he already asked to go in a different club BEFORE that renewal so they already knew he was ready to leave but barely any offer came since the performance during that season was dire for anybody. Problem with Napoli is not that it does not want to pay it's players,it's more that the club itself it's not seen as a first class club like the others,rightfully so since it has a long road ahead to become that big. Napoli did not handle well Kvara after scudetto since they were looking for selling Osimhen at a high price keeping him for another year with an INSANE salary for the club so that he would be able to get a huge offer last year,that's kinda how Napoli always worked to keep the Budget in check but it did not work well and backlashed making Kvara and his agent left with it's 2022 salary waiting for Osimhen to go, the moment Osimhen was gone they actually worked on Kvara renewal but it was too late since,as said before, him too already decided to leave. As a Napoli fan it's a bummer,will always thank both for the incredible work they did and hope for them to become first class players and win as many trophies as they can handle,for Napoli this is just routine for the club's fans to leave loved players in such bad terms. No. He deserves every right to be paid good wages. It’s not like he’s been consistent. 5 goals 3 assist is not good for high wages. You got guys like Bukayo Saka with already +10 goals +10 assist or Vinicius or Lamal. Guys that have been consistent every season for there club. Unfortunately, Napoli isn’t a big market club. There market as a club is a mid table club in serie a. They have always been an overachieving club with rich history and developing world talent that tend to get sold for high profit margins. Khavara will end up leaving. I hope he reaches his ceiling as one of the best wingers in Europe because he hasn’t been as elite since winning the scudetto two seasons ago.

Only then, the club deserves to be rewarded for unearthing the hidden talent Kvara had. But no, not only Kvara, Osimhen was poorly treated too. And what for? Players win the club title. A good club would reward them with a better salary whenever possible. If it cannot, then sell them at their highest possible market value, and reinvest. But to reiterate the main commenter point, it's not the player who should be blamed. It's the club management. The player has done more than enough to bring Scudetto back to Napoli after decades. Thank them properly either by giving them a better salary, or don't imprison them under the guise of loyalty and whatnot.

He's not a great winger just because he's super fast etc he has characteristics that could make him a great winger for many years. I do agree that at the moment he's a bit stuck. However, we also need to highlight that he changed 4 coaches in the span of 2.5 years, which definitely doesn't help a very young player like him. Of course, I'm quite sure that at psg he's not gonna develop anything, given how bad the team is composed, managed and the low level of the Ligue 1
