He Left because he fulfilled his obligations with the group but willie wanted to go solo because thats what he wanted to do in the first place..but he did J Prince a favor by joining the Group after Juke Box and Prince Johnny C Left the Ghetto Boys...

Bruhhh.... you really gotta get all your facts straight. It’s sad that you have 70k views on inaccurate facts! As a producer/engineer who’s actually From Houston, and has worked with majority of the names you’ve mentioned in this video, I know you should get better sources. A lot of what you are saying is not accurate, and should NOT be put out as facts. Maybe you should take a page from Vlad and begin doing Actual Interviews with the artists and entertainers you speak on!! Thats a SMARTER way to go about being a journalist.

FINALLY! It's about time the Big Mike and Rap-A-Lot Records situation. Big Mike was same level as Scarface in regards of being a lyricist. Big Mike just would not let J.Prince handle him. Big Mike burned down (due to some goons from Rap-A-Lot shot up Big Mike's home) one of J.Princes studios and lived to tell about it. Much respect for Big Mike! Like to see a Big Mike-Mack 10 album.

Lord 3-2 is the originator with his signature quote: "We Don't Love Dem Hoes". No one gives Lord 3-2 that credit. As for Big Mike, that's my kind of rapper I listening to. Big Mike's totally overlooked/underrated. The album "Hard to Hit" in 1999 was MY favorite album that's truly unheard. Big Mike was the shiznit back in the day in my opinion. May Mr. 3-2 lives on. R.I.P. Mr. 3-2. The song Straight Gangsterism from Till Death Do Us Part.....CLAAAASSIC!!

First of all, Snoop was influenced by the artist 3.2 who was the other member of Convicts. This is who Snoop got his entire persona from not Big Mike. The catch phrases and lingo such as, "I don't love them hoes", "Really Tho" and "Big Baby" was slang that Snoop took from 3.2 and ran with on the Chronic album. 3.2 passed away several years ago and the proof is on Snoops IG page where he State that 3.2 taught him "not to love them hoes"

Karceno, what do you make of the fact that Willie D rapped a lyric on the subsequent GB album (The Resurrection) that was virtually identical to another verse of Big Mike's from Till Death Do Us Part? "G.E.T.O." - Big Mike : "Opposition get tore up from the floor up Kickin' the type of gangsta shit that make ya throw up" "Open Minded" - Willie D: "Get your ass tore up from the floor up I got some shit that'll make your motherfuckers throw up" I asked Willie D once on an online forum and he said it was a coincidence. I'm still not sure.. seems too similar to be coincidental.

Look at it like this, if you did a duet with Prince or Michael your song is considered a Prince or Micheal song. If Scarface gets on a Geto Boys track its gonna be considered a Scarface track because he's the voice you associate with this crew. That's why Chuck D never featured on other groups tracks. As soon as you hear Chuck you just start thinking Public Enemy

Willie never wanted to be in a group he always wanted to be a solo artist Lil J told him to do a album after they had to reform the geto Boyz and then he can go solo but it was tension in the group

The Big Mike house incident happened around the time that Fat Pat was killed. Let me clarify that these two incidents were unrelated from each other. I was just stating a part of Houston rap history

I hate when niggas like Karceno come off about young niggas not knowing shit, I guarantee it's some youngins out here are more knowledgeable than you about beef, you got young boxing historians, basketball historians that are young, never seen Magic or Bird play, but it's call research and questioning for research. So don't play yourself Karceno, young niggas know more about this beef than you do, don't jump the guns on shit you know nothing about.

Face was on "Straight Gangstaism" because they didn't want to confuse the fans with it being a Geto Boy song and not a Convict song.

John Hamson Yes it is. Willie has said it on multiple times, including on VladTV more than once. He said they were cool for a while but then it got to the point where his entire goal was to get in and out of the studio and stay as far away from Bill as possible.
