FINALLY! It's about time the Big Mike and Rap-A-Lot Records situation. Big Mike was same level as Scarface in regards of being a lyricist. Big Mike just would not let J.Prince handle him. Lord 3-2 is the originator with his signature quote: "We Don't Love Dem Hoes". No one gives Lord 3-2 that credit. As for Big Mike, that's my kind of rapper I listening to. Big Mike's totally overlooked/underrated. The album "Hard to Hit" in 1999 was MY favorite album that's truly unheard. Big Mike was the shiznit back in the day in my opinion. May Mr. 3-2 lives on. R.I.P. Mr. 3-2. The song Straight Gangsterism from Till Death Do Us Part.....CLAAAASSIC!!

First of all, Snoop was influenced by the artist 3.2 who was the other member of Convicts. This is who Snoop got his entire persona from not Big Mike. The catch phrases and lingo such as, "I don't love them hoes", "Really Tho" and "Big Baby" was slang that Snoop took from 3.2 and ran with on the Chronic album. 3.2 passed away several years ago and the proof is on Snoops IG page where he State that 3.2 taught him "not to love them hoes"

Karceno, what do you make of the fact that Willie D rapped a lyric on the subsequent GB album (The Resurrection) that was virtually identical to another verse of Big Mike's from Till Death Do Us Part? "G.E.T.O." - Big Mike : "Opposition get tore up from the floor up Kickin' the type of gangsta shit that make ya throw up" "Open Minded" - Willie D: "Get your ass tore up from the floor up I got some shit that'll make your motherfuckers throw up" I asked Willie D once on an online forum and he said it was a coincidence. I'm still not sure.. seems too similar to be coincidental.

When i heard Big Mike on till death do us part i felt like the Geto Boys were back on top. No offense, but the whole album was good as opposed to previous albums that had hot singles and filler.
Look at it like this, if you did a duet with Prince or Michael your song is considered a Prince or Micheal song. If Scarface gets on a Geto Boys track its gonna be considered a Scarface track because he's the voice you associate with this crew. That's why Chuck D never featured on other groups tracks. As soon as you hear Chuck you just start thinking Public Enemy
