Where is the crash bars

The XB12X did not have crash bars, though there are some aftermarket options for it. All they had for protection was frame pucks on the side of the frame.

Why does it have half a front fender?

its not actually half a front fender, its just the style front fender that comes on the Buell Ulysses XB12X model

The XB12X came with a front fender, which is on this one, its just basically half the size of a fender, kind of hard to see. The XB12S however came with a "full sized" front fender.
