Casino and sports betting are two completely different things. Casino is just pure luck, where the house always has a guaranteed edge over the player. Whereas in sports betting and poker it is possible to overcome the house's edge and beat them.

Well, they have had dynamic prices for many years but it still doesn't change the fact that there are some bettors that always get better prices than SP. And bookies will always limit those punters. This is why I'm pretty sceptical that you can still bet at the level you say you are....Do you bet through a broker only or only use Asian books that have tiny margins ?

Richard, if you are Exchanging there's no problem, when you win, they take a % of your profits. But if you are on Sportsbook, they can limit you as well.

Richard Smith they don't care on bet fair because you're betting against the punter they take a commission, betting on bet fair sports book on the other hand this is a bookmaker they will limit your bets & when your chasing they limit your bets on odds 4/1 and over wankers.

That varies, because I'm using the Kelly Criterion to determine the appropriate stake size. We've made a video where we explain how to use the Kelly Criterion in sports betting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWHQd6RqfJumaLc. The majority of bets on the Asian bookmakers will be +- 2 in odds. On the sharps one would very rarely go above 3 in odds.

Actually Jonas is one of the very few reasonable people in sports betting. What we are doing is to put it simply: exploiting bookmakers who offer odds that is too high compared to the rest of the market. Which makes complete sense to do. I would suggest that you take the time to read the articles on our blog and you would realize that as well. @@JackIsNotInTheBox All of the European bookmakers are soft and easy to beat. So no, it is in fact extremely easy to find. And our most active customers average 500 bets per week during the season. A bit less during the summer, but that is still more than 20 000 bets in a year. No one is saying that we win every bet. That is a ridiculous proposition typically found with tipsters who don't have an edge at all, and which bet on super low odds (high probability) where they of course will have a high hit rate.. Beating the bookmakers is all about finding value in the odds, by not trying to win every bet

Trademate Sports do arbing then? My experience with some European bookies is easy to get money in not so easy to get money out. You also don’t mention every bookies get out “E&OE” errors and omissions expected so even if a book is priced wrong they can void all bets and re-price correctly. Trust me I was doing arbs over 10 years ago

Arbs have a much higher chance of being classified as a palpable error by the bookie than a value bet. When value betting it happens very rarely, and it does not cost you anything. So it has not really been that relevant to cover. Bookies who get a rep for treating customers badly and not paying out winnings are removed from Trademate or usually not supported in the first place. Given that there are 80+ bookies in Europe which are legit, there is no need to use any shady ones.

Hi Largo Corto! No, we make money when people are winning money. Trademate Sports is a subscription service. If people are losing money, they quit. Then we don’t make money. Ideally we would be able to take a cut of our customers profits, but given that they are logging the bets themselves, that would be easy to game. Therefore we charge a subscription fee and thus get a cut of their winnings indirectly instead. Which is simple. It is transparent. And for the customers who do really well they get to keep more of the profits. What we are doing is value betting. Basically exploiting the fact that different bookmakers offer different odds. Some of them are better at setting their odds than others. We identify and signal the outliers to our customers. We get that it doesn't always makes sense why we sell such a thing if it works as good as we are claiming. The problem with value betting like this is getting limited. As you will soon experience for yourself, bookmakers will do everything they can to stop you from winning. That is what happened to all of us. So on the soft books, there's simply not any value for us anymore. However, there's still plenty of value in it for you. Finally, to draw a comparison to the stock market. Some investors will do a better job at finding value and making good investments that others and some will lose money. You can’t blame successful investors for the failure of others.

If you get limited the majority of bookies will let you withdraw your money. Some bookies are just shady overall, there are places that review bookmakers such as Sportsbookreview. I don't use bookies who have lower than a C- rating there. Unless I know that they are credible such as a couple of newer Scandinavian bookies.
