True. I know he gets a lot of criticism by other sheikhs but I have never found any English Quran study like his....and of course if Nouman make any mistake..then he is only human.May Allah guide us all to his path.

I am a Quran student as well...And started teaching the part which I have completed successfully..one thing that always bothered me is I am a topper in my class but didn't had its deep understanding.so I switched on to learn its depth by listening to dr israr Ahmed and now to bro Nouman..I want to learn and teach Quran to people.Allah had guided me from a stern music listener to a learner of Quran at the age of 36.Quran is not about keeping its knowledge to oneself but to spreading the word of Allah to whole mankind.Alhamdulillah.

Great I learned more from you than many Arab preachers, and I am native Arabic speakers. I don't get bored, when I'm listening to you. Plus the Arab preachers get a lot into politics and many of them are ulamaa al sultan (scholars of kings) they preach what the rulers want them to say and they don't speak about the Quran. The only Arabs I know of who can speak greatly about the Quran are Sheikh Shaarawi (died a long time ago).

My biggest epiphany was: the three essentials which are history, the creation, and the revelation and I really agree with that or just from my experience people would tell me to go pray and go back to Allah but I wasn't listening and didn't care because I didn't know yet why I should pray? So you have to tell a person about who is Allah and really get them to know their creator first and then they have to reflect on some of the surahs of the Quran like (alkursi) which had a big impact on me to love this deen. i was resiting it once and tears come down from my eyes and that's where I said was I can't believe how powerful this Ayyah is, so first hand experience is also key to get someone to Belive because we are stubborn

For me, Surah Ar Rahman is like the heart of the Quran. Each Surah that makes you grateful and certain ayahs are read, or pondered over keeps going back & forth to Ar Rahman and thoughts on blessings from Allah. I hope I dont offend anyone for what am trying to say is very difficult to convey but each time , each surah always takes me back or forward to Ar Rahman so am more and more reminded of Allahs favours and blessings. Forgive me, I know surah Ya sin is the subject here but I needed to Express this thought inside me. I speak from heart. 🤲⚘

O Allah, free us from the jail of our own ego and pride. A note that the word used is (sadd), not a "wall", which means a dam or a plug (a sealant) or a barrier. So it is not a wall that can be overcome. Also you need at least two walls or dams to have a ceiling or a cover on the top. Thirdly, this specific aya is used as a prayer to escape from the evil of certain people. It was used by Prophet peace be upon him when he migrated to Madina to bypass the gang who was appointed by the Meccans to assassinate him. I used it amd verified it in life threatening situations and never failed, and there is a funny story behind that. "And We made, between their hands, a dam and behind them a dam, then we coverd them up, so they do not vision (have sight)"
