So excited for you getting those! Lately I’ve only been seeing little kids getting airs for the first time but this gives me hope of one day doing them.

Glad it could inspire you man!!! You definitely got it! It’s all about the mental will power to do it. They are scary at first, but you can definitely do them if your up for the mental challenge. I have faith in you!!💪🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Just put on those pads and send one! The taller the ramp the scarier, but the easier they will be!

@@AustinSK8NYC I’ll have to get some pads and start working on my kick turns prepping for air. I heard it helps if you grab the nose on your everyday turns because it trains you to compress the stance. I generally ride fully up, which for a tall guy it isn’t ideal. I have to train myself to ride compact. I’m busy trying to get a kickflip by 12/1 but I will be building the groundwork for airs throughout and see how soon I can get to the real training.

Send me a video of your kick flip on Instagram so I can give you some tips! If you get pads, spend the money on 187 killer pro pads. Your body will thank you haha. Compact is key! When your skating taller ramps with more transition and vert. You really want to stay lower and bend your knees more to stay closer to the wall. Don’t stand up on the way down. Stay low until your ready to pump at the bottom of the ramp. Learning to grab your nose and touch it will definitely help you for sure! Just throw them into your session any time you skate! You are on the right path and well on the way to it all!!🙏🏽
