Beatrice lives in Kugluktuk, Nunavut. In this video, she recounts the emotions she felt when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and discusses how her lack of control brought back traumatic memories from her past. She also talks about the difficulty in accessing treatment from her remote Inuit community, the impact of her diagnosis on others, and her desire to be well-informed about what was happening.
