@@MrRangerSTORM Yes but still it has better build quality, weight difference is mainly because of platform architecture. Also XUV500 has 2.2 litre engine while Harrier has 2.0 & XUV500 is 7 Seater so this too adds more weight to XUV 500. By the way, I am fan of Both❤️

It depends on customer requirement. one who wants features will go with XUV, one who wants overall performance will go with Harrier/Gravitas. At last, TATA's seating comfort, driving pleasure, build quality, high speed stability & off-road capability is unbeatable.❤️ Cheers for both TATA & Mahindra!🇮🇳

TATA I think wanted to first try and test the engine with the lower tuning of 140ps but reasons better known to them... Jeep would have told see our engine is capable for 170ps it your call how u want it to tune. Now after engine has proved itself it was tuned to higher power output. But u made me nostalgic when u said Mobil instead of Engine Oil. Yeah that company became such a strong brand that engine oil became synonymous to Mobil.

Xuv500 is better and reliable than Harrier, the only drawback is its a front wheel drive suv. But hopefully after new generation in 2021 it will be more efficient.

How you can say that ? As the XUV 300 also has many problems in it's initial batches. Harrier is just came 2 years ago in the market you can't predict it's reliability just in 2 years wait for 5 years atleast.

Service cost is higher side than my Ford Endeavour 3.2 2016, I have done 97,000 Kms and not a single paid service with oil change cost me higher than Rs 8,500. Paid for 9 paid services at average Rs. 7,000. Even I have checked on their website that my next 1,00,000 km paid service will be cost me less than 6,500. Even in maintenance I have not paid single penny extra than what I have paid for paid services on regular intervals of 10,000kms. One of my friend have Harrier black edition and I can say it's worth buying than Jeep Compass 👍

It really depended on service center. Our experience with Indica was also bad. Spent almost 40000 on two back to back servicing in 2006 and 2007. We had to sell it off. We had the vehicle for just about 5 years.
